People kept saying "naaaah, they only reused that scene where a blonde boy is sleeping and Luz slaps him awake, that's not pilot Hunter", but I always argued that the round, human ears (Hunter being a sort of clone of a human), him being related to royalty, and the "Bloodwilliams" made it pretty clear they were in fact the same character in essence/core. People keep saying the ginger human youngster with the tooth gap is the actual pilot Hunter, which yeah, it's not like it was completely out of the realm of possibility, but it has already been confirmed Ginger Boy isn't pilot Hunter. Meanwhile, sir William was always planned to be part of the main cast, even the main character back in the first drafts. Sir William is inspired by the Little Prince, and one of Hunter's nicknames within the show is Little Prince, most likely as a sort of inside joke/self-reference within production. It makes more sense his characteristics where passed on/changed into Hunter as the story and production developed more.

I remember it being said in the Gallery Nucleus panel that early during development, the Emperor was going to be a separate character from Belos, and that Belos would’ve instead been more of an evil advisor/regent type character. Personally, I’ve felt that all the concept art we have for Belos closer fits that ‘evil advisor’ vibe than his finalized roll as Emperor, and the same goes for the vibe of his apparent, though brief, portrayal in the NTO.

It's almost like a wistful message wishing for more episodes but so glad we actually had the opportunity to have all of these great adventures, like you mentioned in your video. P.S. The animation difference is probably because of runtime. You also see a similiar downgrade to reduce animation time with Steven universe. Pilots may go full speed ahead to sell the idea, but studios will then simplify stuff to reduce costs, downscale the animation team and make the show quicker

I do like the concept of seeing Luz do some form of magic that comes from herself. I'm excited for that to arrive in Watching and Dreaming though, with Luz finally having a staff

I am so happy we atleast get a finale. I was so unbelievably upset that TOH was being canceled for the reasons it is (come one. We ALL know why it’s being canceled). I don’t get why they can’t just finish the whole season instead of just cutting it short. I KNOW that season 3 was meant to be longer. It was meant to be the last season (I think). The echo mouse died while Luz and the gang were in the human realm. We know this because when they return to the empty owl house, Camila picks up a dead mouse skeleton that was at least implied to be the echo mouse. We can infer that it starved to death, as it was found inside a cupboard in the kitchen, probably in a desperate attempt to find food. So yeah, odds aren't good for the echo mouse I'm afraid :(

To anyone saying “it’s not big enough to be the Titans heart” I say shush. There’s countless logical fallacies in the show! Plus there’s little hearts inside their alarm clocks and tamagotchis, so it’s probably used as a power source for either Belos or the castle. I don’t think the heart will play a role because it was never really the focus. But Watching and Dreaming could refer to the Titan watching over the Boiling Isles, Luz, King and their friends. Maybe he speaks to her in a dream (from the in between)

OK. As a new fan, i feel like I should give my two cents on the back and forward between Dana and Disney when it came to the budget and what we could of gotten. I'm not sure if what I'm about to say will be controversial on both fronts or not, but I kinda take both sides when it comes to this whole mess. To TL;DR it, I just call the whole situation as both sides handled it messy and refused to compromise on both sides, but lets get more specific. On the side of Disney, I can understand being reserved about giving that big of a budget on a show that wasn't meant to have the budget of a high end animated movie. As someone who had worked in the industry of films, while it is tempting to try to throw all the money into making something the best it can be thinking it'll get you net worth back and then some, more times than not, those gambles end with the return never meeting the cost. So when all of a sudden, a show's creator shows you the animation test and it has animation quality that you can't repeat consistently, I would be keen on making sure either this show has the premise worth the cost or try to keep it down to a reasonable level to avoid upsetting everyone On the side of Dana, I feel by season 2, that fear should of been null and void, or at the very least there should of been more of a trust to take more chances and much like gravity falls, give it the money and attention it deserves. Heck, if you really want to push it, the fact they even authorize a season two shows they at east by the end of S! had the confidence to green lit a s2. By the end of that season, if the results were really that bad, then there shouldn't of even been a second or a third season, let alone having that third season have a few episodes. If Disney's fix to the budget issue was make fewer ep, but make them longer, then all of a sudden, you are setting the show up to fail. I feel looking this over, it's a mixture of unreasonable saving (Disney), over ambitions (Dana), and overall on both camps, a refusal to compromise. Not to say anyone should shame one of the other. Im speaking as someone who thought the same "fuck the big company" mindset and learn "well they do have some good points" and as such, have a bit of a devil's advocate reputation when it comes to being companies. Truth be told, i feel that both sides decided to be spiteful to each other to eventually lead us to where the show is.
