Twenty five years ago, my husband and I pulled an all nighter finishing the tile on our bathroom floor, while the kids slept. When morning came, we got the kids up, put them on the bus for school, and went to sleep until the bus brought them home at 3:00. It was such a fun night, and something we still reminisce about fondly. Great job you guys. In 25 years when you reminisce about this night, think of me...and remember I told you so! 😉 Love you guys!

Be sure and put a lid on your sand box or your cat will be pooping in it! My dad made one for me. It was tall enough my friends and I had to stand on the outside to play in it. (Less sand to come in our home!) He built a lid that lowered and raised to cover it!

As a parent to an only child, I learned that YOU become their source of entertainment. I always tell my friends having kids to 100% at least have two so they can entertain each other 😂 -- AND so they have someone in their lives when they're older who FULLY comprehends what they experienced, with their home/life/parents, etc. I don't know what I'd do without my sister as our parents are approaching end of life and I hate that I never gave that to my son. 🙏 I don't usually comment, but felt it in my heart to share. Love the insight in to your motherhood journey ❤

I am an only child and dealing with elderly parents alone is tough. My mom has early stage dementia and my father passed away recently. Dealing with his death, the funeral and my mom at the same time was hard. Luckily though I have a loving partner supporting me. I also wonder though what it would be like to have had a sibling to share the emotions one goes through at times like this.

Thank you! Why people need permission from the government & others around them to believe their own reality is silly. I can’t count how many experiences I’ve had all my life. I am not stupid and I’m not a liar. I hate attention and live in a tiny little cabin out in the middle of nowhere, alone. I don’t talk to anyone unless I go into town once or twice a month. I don’t want anyone coming out here. I don’t want friends anymore. All they do is tell me I’m a liar or I’m crazy. They can’t handle what they will see if they come here & spend time with me. Then they will just tell other people and my tranquility & peace will be gone forever. I am starting to say more only online in hopes that the right people who hear it will receive it, and be uplifted. But I have learned that sharing the truth with others, never goes unpunished and I must protect myself from the fearful, and the hateful, who are trying so hard to put the genie back in the bottle. It doesn’t matter who believes or who does not believe. In the end, every person will have their moment when they’re staring up in the sky, awestruck saying “OMG, it’s real, it’s real!” it’s not an option. It’s the reality. 😂

It would be kind of cool to have a little mini playground for Sadie. Something that she could potentially grow with so pieces could be changed out as she gets older, but to keep her entertained while you guys are doing work. Years ago I would help work at a daycare at the YMCA part time just to make extra money and one of the favorite things kids liked, was pretend where you would make them pretend like they were having their own restaurant or store but out of things that they already had. It enhances their imagination, and it can keep them busy for hours.

As someone who works for Drywall /Taping division in a large commercial Construction company in California…. I just want to yell through the camera “BUY BIGGGER MUD KNIVES!!!!” Maybe it’s just not easily accessible but doing this with 2, 3, and 6 inch knives is just murderous, and so hard to get as nice a finish. It’s also painfully less efficient. I watch our guys use 12 and 16 inch and they can blast through a whole wall in the blink of an eye. All that said, I’m proud of you guys and I have nothing but excitement to see the finished product. Efficiency aside, it’s gonna get done!

Cave drawings show stick figures with bubble-like helmets over their heads. The pyramids and Macho Pichu could not have been built without some advanced engineering knowledge. Back in the 1960's I remember a news report of the government preserving an alien being. So many credible reports have happened since. I can't wait to learn more about our universe from these visitors. So let's stay healthy, live long and hopefully witness this incredible possibility. We are not alone. Many Hugs, Krista

In the drywall mud mix in dawn dish soap it helps with bubbles and makes it spread easier. I'm not the drywaller but my daughters grandpa was and I believe that's why he said he put dawn in it. Oh and this won't help for the bathroom but when u build ur house stagger the drywall like bricks putting factory edge has too factory edges. And cut edges to cut. If possible. That way when the structure settles u won't have cracks all the way from floor to ceiling because structures always settles and it will crack down where the two pieces meet especially if u have earth quakes. Some drywallers have in the price to come back to fix the cracks that do happen the first time ( on a new build) it happens after that it's on the home owners. I learned a lot about drywalling from Brenton that I still remember. I did better drywall then his stepson ( my ex) because I actually listened to him lol

Hey guys, as someone who has done plenty of drywall, plaster, repair, etc.(it’s my trade), here’s a little tip: Put the adhesive tape on to the Raw drywall first. That way it will stick. Then cover it with mud. It wouldn’t hurt to use a 6 inch knife either. At least for your first coat. Then a 10 inch knife for your second and third coats. Then, if you’re trying to finish it all in one night, which you’re gonna be limited by drying time, at least have a powerful fan to help to dry things. Wish I was there to give you a demonstration…😊

I thoroughly enjoy watching your beautiful little family grow and loving life together. It reminds me of when my children were young. My eldest daughter used to sleep with her cute little but up in the air as well. So adorable. Now she is 27, they grow so quickly. Thank you for sharing your beautiful lives with us. Much love to all of your wonderful family and animals. Take care.

You have become the best parents ever and such grateful human beings for all that you have in life. You have the crux of everything in life that’s important! Keep up the good work and the hard work!

I also last weekend pulled my first all nighter in years (I'm 47)with my 14 yrO Daughter. Chatting about her sexuality, friends, life experiences, worries, explaining why we only see each other on wkends and the break up from her mum. The sun came up, but we're in Ireland so it was raining and completely overcast. Best time of my life as we connected on a different level. We got a job needed to be done and done right. Exhausted the next day... but it was worth every secound. What we do with our time in life is so important, no matter the struggle. Saddie will see this some day and really appreciate Mom and Dads grit and determination. She's a lucky gal. You guys push it to the limit. Awesome job

You two are rock stars! I would've never been able to do that even when I was young! I hope Sadie is letting you get some much needed rest. You should definitely let Rodrigo babysit one evening so you can have a date night. I love how you are so dedicated to her being your priority but you also need to have some time for just the two of you. You are two of the best parents I've seen!!😘

You ARE extremely Blessed that you are able to be home and enjoy every second of her life, because as a parent of 4, and a nephew, best friend, and unknowingly at the time a future daughter in law that is 7 teenagers for a few years...we were so busy working we missed too much! Enjoy it 100%

I agree with everything the other moms are saying. Both of my parents are gone and it's a comfort having my siblings. Also, I had two sons about 1.5 apart. They enjoyed spending time with one another. I'd take them camping and they would create their own adventures. To this day they talk about all the fun they did together. Those are their memories. Ones I didn't partake in. I'm so blessed to know they have them. Yall are amazing parents and would be perfect for a second child. Sadie would be such a great older sister. I can just see her now taking her little sibling around the farm and teaching them how to do chores.

Omg there’s so much great expertise and guidance in these comments. Make sure to just ignore those that should be ignored and talk long and hard about the ones that feel right for you. I never thought a utube like this that was for fun and entertainment could be so absolutely golden and thoughtful and useful. I’ve lived long enough (80 yrs) to know if you read these comments every 5 years you’d pick different ones that felt right. What a treasure.
