Thank you for mentioning Brooke! She is a sweetheart. Loved this video. I live near Nashville. My daughter lives in Hendersonville and finally got power back on today. She rode the storm out in her bathtub. Buildings just blocks from her were all leveled. God is so good! Thank you for the prayer requests. It was a scary night. This Momma was doing some serious praying while she was in the middle of that storm.❤

It was very heartwarming to see Herc's reaction to you Grandpa. I'm sure you starting out with the time by the fence helped. I'm sure the more the family visits at Shady Acres, he will learn who is friend or foe. That was hilarious when you were trying to shoo away those birds from your nice shiny truck. I loved seeing you with the animals at K&S. I was amazed at how well Herc did. Grandpa, it was wonderful seeing you out at Kyle and Shannon's place. Your new truck is a lovely surprise! The guineas sure did like it! HAHAHA I loved watching you petting Christina turkey, even though it was brief, it was enough. The two tom turkeys seemed to have taken a shine to you, following you around. I was really thrilled that Herc was welcoming to you this time and loving all the lovings you had to give him. Of course, Spruce had to come get his lovings too. Also, surprise of surprises is that Blue allowed you to pet her and didn't run away. She has come such a long way towards being more friendly since she first arrived there at Shady Acres. The goatlets all loved your lovings, too. Back at your own farm, it was cute seeing Bella and Olivia coming to see what you were doing when you added fresh straw for their bed. I laughed when Olivia just plopped down on her side, basically demanding belly rubs and lovings, which of course you gave her. I loved that you also gave Bella and Lola some lovings and rubs, too. Matt looks great with his trimmed beard. I really enjoyed the family photo session and seeing you all together inside the house afterwards. The cutting up and joking around with each other is what I love seeing the most when Doss family members get together. Your family always brings a smile to my face and usually makes me laugh out loud, too. Thank you for the laughs! Prayers to Mrs. Cog Hill Farms, and to the people affected by the tornadoes.

Great video. Great family get together. Happy Hercules was so receptive. Actually here in Tennessee, December and January have produced some of our most devastating tornados as well as Kentucky. Love the whole Doss family.

Happy birthday to you, Rae, and Carter! Mine is next month. I don't celebrate it anymore and I think the only 3 that mattered was turning 13 (teen), 18 (adult) and 65 (Soc Sec). The Guineas are so funny how they run.. they look like little tanks running around.. I’m glad to see father’s and sons that show affection and hug each other and say I love you.. my boys always did that with their dad too.. it’s been 6 years since we lost him and the boys and I miss him every day.. We who live in tornado prone area’s , can’t let our guard down just because it’s late in the year for tornadoes to@ occur.. some of the most devastating ones have been the late in the year tornados..

I just saw this video this morning..was in ER Mon. due to gallbladder attack, and still do not feel well. You are right, Herc was considering nip/bite Grandpa. Herc clearly gave the body language signals--head down, turned to side that a bite might be eminent. Kyle is right, Herc does not know personal space--he has no business getting up onto people unless invited. Not the turkeys he was after. He should have been reprimanded for his misbehavior. Love all these folks, but they need a lot of help---it not all about affection. Thanks

Congratulations Grandpa on the fist time on a brand new truck. I know how you feel with having your vehicle paid off and then deciding to get a new one. I so glad Hercules aloud you into his home. It was wonderful to see Hercules respond to Grandpa so wonderfully! I truly think he remembers that he stayed by you for a couple months when he was younger and recognized the smells on you. I ❤ my Toyota! I bought my first ever brand new vehicle; a 2000 Toyota RAV4; in December 2000. I am still driving that same vehicle 23yrs later!! It’s got 63,000 miles on it, some rust, a few dents, but it has never broken down on me in all those years!! *Knock on wood!!

Enjoyed this video. Grandpa next time you go to see Herc, rub some peanut butter or cheese whiz , or tuna on your hands and shoes. I learned this when i was a volunteer at our local animal shelter. The video of the family pictures was great!

Brooke having to figure out autoimmune diseases can be pretty rough to do. I have multiple starting from 8 years old. I'm 65 now and still coming up with more. I've learned to start investigating any new symptoms in that area. It only took 42 years to start figuring that much out. I've been sending prayers for her, and her family and for her medical team to figure out her problem. I'm concerned it might be Fibromyalgia brought on from overdoing things in that horrible heat and putting up fencing. If it is indeed Fibromyalgia there is no known cure yet. Some medications help, but it's still at times you have to stop and take things easier for a few days or more. She really does need prayers from all.

Ralph I am so happy Hercules was loving on you and not growling. Love your new truck. That is so awesome. That was so funny how Bella and Olivia help you with the hay. The dogs were picking out their sleeping spots. You have such a beautiful family and doing the pictures was awesome. Adler was just being Adler. I thought the one with Leeann was so special. Oh Jenny if you only knew the gripe session these men had all week about how cold it was going to be to take pictures. Actually it was Grandpa mainly. Come on Grandpa, fess up. lol. I can’t blame the boys for this one. He told everyone all week what the temperature was going to be and complained right up until the photographer said “smile”. Grandpa, It was so great to see you lovin' on Herc❣️ He's so much calmer, i guess he's just grown up a bit. I didn't remember him being so much more brown than white. I thought he he looked more like Smokey or Rebel & Sissy. I haven't seen "K & S Get Out" in a month of Sundays! I saw little Harry, but I didn't see his brother or Mario. I feel like I need to go back quite a few episodes to catch up on everything. The turkeys have grown up & are so beautiful! I thought 1 was "Thanksgiving" & the other "Christmas." Were they both pardoned, or just given a reprieve? 😂 It was funny watching you chase them away from your truck to only have them run around & come up behind you. Then, when you'd gotten rid of them, the turkeys came running up behind you. It was like watching toddlers at Grandpa's house running him around in circles. Step in Grandma w/milk & cookies & nap time. If not her, the parents step in to put an end to their silliness. I didn't see the party you were talking about.
