The gun play and mechanics of this game were truly amazing and a had a nice skill ceiling for some great outplay moments, story was amazing as well with one of the better cod campaigns with one of its best villains, I feel it was more hated for the past to win part of it tho, besides that this cod was amazing, it also had some of the best cosmetics in cod history !

The main issue I had with AW was that the multiplayer had Pay to Win Lootboxes. Pay to Win is bad, lootboxes are bad: combine both and you have the greediest tactic ever. Same thing with BO3 and Cod WW2. However, the cleanest HUD ever award has to go to this campaign. The way it lists everything as a holographic on the gun is pretty nice and immersive.

Cod AW was sledgehammers first solo Cod game. Arguably cod AW was the biggest jump in graphical cinamatics and gameplay when it came to COD series at that time in 2014. After the release of ghost Advance warfare would be the 2nd cod game to release into the PS4 and Xbox One generation consoles. MAN did the graphics really improve. Seeing Kevin Spacey Digitally rendered into this game was mind blowing. I remember the hype for this game. I remember thinking that this game was apart of the modern warfare series.

As for why the game is laggy, from my understanding it has to do with the way it loads data in the background (this is why cutscenes stutter the most, since it's loading the most data). Don't fret, there is something you can do to improve it. In the game, go to Campaign, press Space to enter Options, click Video Options and then toggle Display Mode to Windowed (No Border), and then in the Advanced Video Options, set Sync Every Frame to Yes. Apply both settings. This should help a lot in getting it smoother as it'll force the game to render at your monitor's refresh rate. If you have an Nvidia graphics card, you additionally could open the Nvidia Control Panel (right click your Desktop to see the option to open it), go to Manage 3D Settings. Then go to Program Settings and in 1. Select a program to customize, select CoD: Advanced Warfare. If it's not in the list, click Add and it should be in the list there to add. Once opened/added, turn on the triple buffering and apply settings. Open game. Should run buttery smooth.

It was the first call of duty to introduce supply drops but also the best supply drops. Literally was so generous with drops and you never actually felt like you were at a big disadvantage as newer cods and how impossible it was to get the literal brand new weapons they had in drops . AW you could literally get 1-2 supply drops every game other games you gotta play like all day for 1 drop 😂
