That is such a shame Norman. You are getting power to the module. But if the LCD is gone, not much can be done. I take it that the module extends into the bracelet itself? Try taking it apart if possible. The adjustment buttons might be gunked up.

I'll do some inspecting. I THINK everything is pretty well glued together and sealed up like a Swatch. But I'll look.

I’m in a similar situation with my early eighties Micronta Phone Memory watch. It works in calculator mode but I can’t set the time. A sticky button issue, perhaps.

Ugh. Yeah I have a Litronix that seems to have a gunked up time setting button.

I've Seen desk clocks that have that style of transparent screen, but on a wrist watch, that's so unique. I wonder if it works work properly with the correct Battery installed, might not be getting enough juice with the current one.

My mall watch guy tried a few different batteries... but you may absolutely be correct.

Wow, I didn't even know about that one. A buddy of mine asked me to get new batteries put in a couple of NOS similar models that have opaque bodies and one of them was DOA, so Fossil's quality is a bit below Rolex and Omega in my estimation. Philippe Starck is a brilliant designer though. He did a number awesome external drives for LaCie that are affordable if you can find one.There is a wonderful podcast by the Glenn Gould Foundation in which he speaks very candidly about his life and work that you might enjoy.

I bought this watch in white and red, wore it once. Put it back into the case while at my mothers. She threw it away because it was clear and she thought it was the packaging only. Imagine how gutted I was a week later asking about it only to learn it was trashed. Sad times. One of the coolest design collaborations ever.
