It's called work and employment opportunity for the workers and performers. Also it's not like every day was an event. Even ordinary Indian families have multiple wedding rituals and it's not a short affair. We just invite people of our own status. But they did arrange 50 more lavish weddings for underprivileged girls during this time as part of their own son's wedding celebration and gifted them some gold jewellery for the occasion.
