This Week in Travel: The last Caribbean Airlines 737-800 retires

Caribbean Airlines has been undergoing a re-fleeting exercise, changing out their older jets for newer Boeing 737-8s. These workhorses formed the backbone of CAL's fleet and could be found as far north as Canada, and as far south as Suriname. But as the new jets arrived, the older Boeing 737-800 NGs gradually left the fleet to be returned to their lessors.
Last Thursday marked the end of an era for Caribbean aviation as the last jet, 9Y-ANU, left our shores.
Producer Brent Pinheiro and cameraman Kerlon Orr were on hand to witness her departure, in this edition of This Week in Travel.

The new caribbean airlines colors is ok, but i very much miss BWIA steelpan colors, back then it made the aircraft standout in Airports like JFK and MIA, i remember you could spot a BWEE aircraft at those airports without having to look too hard lol.
