.......my best buddy for 17 years. Please don't be sad because, as you'll see, he had a truly wonderful, happy, and healthy life and is now pain-free frolicking with all his mates in the big kennel in the sky. Of course, there's a bit on what I've been wearing and I share my daily 5 Tibetan Rites with you: exercises you can do anywhere, any time. I am very sad and the house feels empty but I know this too will pass and normal service will be resumed as soon as possible! We had our dog for just over 17 years too. We knew it was her time, but couldn’t face it. I called my sister-in-law, who is a Veterinarian who lived in another town. I will never, ever forget what she said. “Pets give us everything, love, joy, companionship, they will only ask one thing of you and that's to let them go. I called our local Vet and we let Lexy go the next day. Your video of Jack brought a tear to my eye, he was a happy boy who had a great life with you.

sending you a hug, Suzi. We had to make the call to have our dear cat (also 17) put to sleep last year as he had cancer. We had a vet come to our home. I thought they were going to give him a sedative (as they did that for our dog) but they just gave him a high dose of painkiller before the final injection, which meant he still had his eyes open. It was really upsetting. I miss him and it has been just over a year now. All the best to you xx PS. I understand the special type of grief for a beloved animal companion

Sorry to hear about Jack, we all have grown to love him but he did have the best life and it was the right thing to do. Soon my three kitties will be 16 and luckily they are all thriving but I lost one last year and I know they don't live forever; every day is a blessing. I am the same, I will also get a small doggie when I will not be able to travel or go out as much as I do now but I don't ever see myself without a kitty ....or two as I couldn't stand coming home to an empty house. Luckily you have lots of friends, my list is very short and most of them are more bother than pleasure.

Well I did cry sorry 😢. Even though after last week's vlog I was expecting him to of crossed the Rainbow Bridge, it was still sad news. He was indeed a wonderful age and incredibly fit and well until the last couple of months, even less. Just watching the little videos of him it brings back memories of all my little ones, I think I've said far well to around 50. When you say about good things have happened since his passing, I beleave in life that for more good things in life ,we have to make room for them , if you think about buying clothes we always have a re shuffle to make room. The universe moves in a mysterious way. Sounds like Socks may have had her cubs, let's hope she brings them for a visit, a little fox house is a great idea then on those awful wet days she cannot eat in shelter you can very cheaply put a tiny camera inside to see her ,would make great viewing . Hen my friend lost her dear little doggy she bought a big , Teddy Bear in the form of a Bear and he sat on her chair, it gave her someone to pet as she walked by. God bless, thinking of you , here's to spring which is not far-away ❤

I feel your pain Suzi. As you know I had to say goodbye to my beautiful Labrador Jet 5 weeks ago. It is so hard, but I believe they know it is time. My dog had similar issues as your Jack. It has been a year since our dog passed. Our Vet was so understanding during the injection and kind and as our dog feel asleep we said goodbye. We always miss a pet forever but the good happy memories of an animal will linger and give us a sense of peace. I hope each day will get easier.
