They didn’t back in the old days. Someone would have to completely dominate the entire winter tour (16 events) to even start thinking that far ahead.

Or he might not win a lot of money. I remember watching a podcast about bowlers, and how they rather do leagues and jackpots than cash out maybe once every 4 months

@@jeremyjones9467 Family, money... six of one, half dozen of the other. He has a bowling supply business for a reason. Let's face it, of all the guys who bowl full time on the national tour, there are MAYBE a dozen who win enough money every year to support a family without having some other source(s) of income. When having a bad enough year means that your kids don't get shoes, it's not sustainable for most guys with families, lol... unless their significant other makes good bank. Single with no responsibilities other than yourself? Fine... tour your brains out and live on Ramen noodles. It's regrettable, but professional bowling really isn't a career path unless you're one of the small handful of elite players in the world. Belmo and EJ don't need a day job in the off season... but they're the exception to the rule.

@@notonyourlife7939 I think I said that. Met people that said the money isn’t really there I mean so pros that are in the elite league and has no tour titles. Just saying how pros really don’t wanna say it out loud
