I got the BRY mid-July after not bowling in 20+ years. First Friday night on burned up lanes I throw 192, 196, 206 and 204. Not a bad start for not bowling for 20+. Even when missing spots it just seemed to get down lane then play well even when not perfect.

So would you recommend a 6 inch pin for anyone that bowls in a house that has a dryer shot? I just bought a hustle mm and have not drilled it yet, I'm a slightly rev dominant stroker and play in a house that is medium to medium dry and need to decide on a layout that will match my style. I'm really hoping that this new ball will alow me to play straighter more up the boards.

I want to try a full finger 2 hand grip, because my biggest problem is getting around the ball too much with the fingertip 2h grip. Any recommendations for changing pitches? I drill my own stuff, and currently use 5/8" reverse and 3/8" laterals in both fingers.

I don’t put grips in my balls for that reason, sometime if I have to get around it alittle bit more I keep it at 1st knuckle, if I need to put more hand in it with more foward roll I go to 2nd knuckle

Hey Mikey, thanks for the video! As someone who constantly switches back and forth between throwing it onw handed and two hand, was wondering if I could drill a ball one-handed but throw it two-handed? Performance wise, does it adversely affect the ball in any way?

If you plan to bowl in any sanctioned leagues you sadly can’t do that. If you wanna throw two-handed and you have a thumb drilled you would have to use that thumb hole. So I’d recommend just finding which one works better for you and drill it that way.

​@@matthewcoppola4555 Good point, only other option would be having 2 of everything drilled, one with a thumb and one without. That would be costly though. I was thinking about something though, what if someone were to get a thumb hole drilled, but get it drilled way too large, and during their approach, right before the backswing they slide their thumb out and end up rolling it thumbless? Technically they start out with their thumb in so wonder if this would be legal?
