THIS WEIRD BIKE HAS A BUILT IN PETROL ENGINE - WILL IT SHRED?

This weird bike has a built in petrol engine - Will it shred? I bought a weird Dutch bike with a built in 30cc engine and find out if it could be the ultimate freeride mountain bike, before getting angry! Would you try this bike?
This weird dutch built bicycle has a 30cc Sachs engine built in as standard and I thought it coul dbe the best bike ever made so I buy it and proceed to test it to find out how fun such a machine could be! After realising it wasn't that good I decided to get out the Surron and shred super hard to let out the frustration of not enough power by hitting big jumps, urban freeride spots and even a beach! I was even able to squeeze in some wing foiling, what was your favourite?

In the early 1970's I was 14 with no road-legal status pulling wheelies in the middle of the road when a cop started chasing me. We had a network of trails since we were not allowed on the road legally. I got to one place in the dark where I would have to cross the road, I was going so fast that I never touched the road and looked down as I flew over and found that the local cop knew I would go that way and he was waiting. He turned on his lights while I flew over the hood of his cop car. That is a sweet memory.

My dad had one of those petrol engine bycicles and they were extremely popular among elderly man during the 90s till early 2000s in Germany. This sound brings back so many memories.

Sparta met is epic. Great Dutch invention.

It is not a Dutch invention, its German. First Version, was produced in the 30s by Fichtel&Sachs, 98ccm Hub Engine. The Second One, Motortype 099 started in the middle of the 80s in 86 i think. Also by Fichtel&Sachs. Sparta is a Dutch Manufacturer of relatively Bad Dutch Cycles. Because of the way they are bulit, they have a tndency to break. Called "Krückstockrahmen" in German. Something like Walkingstickframe, because of the weird frametubing. Sparta made a Frame to Fit this Motor. Winora also made Frames and a Cycle clalled Winorette.

@@florianborkenhagen9434 Most of these in-one-piece frames broke above the bracket, Sparta almost went bankrupt because of these. I've replaced dozens of these frames under waranty. I hated these.

These should have been everywhere in cities alongside normal bikes but they're too economical, cheap and easy to repair. This would have affected the sale of cars badly so they simply we're legislated out of existence.

Make sure you use the highest octane fuel you can find. That regular stuff will gum up that little carburetor faster than you can blink.

This is incorrect, all octane is is its resistance to detonation, the higher the octane the higher its resistance to detonation. It is ethanol that gums up carburetors so what he needs is ethanol free fuel.

@@masonrose-hamby2798 ethanol free yes but for the most part at the pumps the crappier gas you get the more ethanol is in it so for the general population that does not have access to nitromethane it's just easier to say hi test.

Sam, I learned to never take apart the carburetor to clean it. It is a pain and will never run well.. just give it a good spray of carb cleaner while the engine is running. Works for me every time!
