Chiltons are super popular at the bars here and since the mixer is just soda water and lime, everyone gets a flavored vodka to customize the flavor. My personal favorite is a cucumber chilton. I guess flavored whisky would be used for similar stuff, like whisky and coke. A cherry whisky and coke sounds great to me 😌

Hey all, great channel. I been taking it easy but tonight my mom is getting near the end. no more hospitals she's home here with us now where she belongs. but to the lighter point I went out to grab something to feel good with. I came home with a 1/5th of Carolans Salted Caramel Creme and my very first 1/5th of Plantation. EPIC. a bit of the creme on rocks with a splash of that sugar.. it's helping. and that's one of it's purposes. we're lucky to have such things to enjoy. cherish every sip of life. I'll call the drink "Cilla's Send-off". awesome channel & group.

I like Meredith (sorry if I misspelled). I have my roommate says that I like my drinks too dry (not sweet), so I think her and I would have similar tastes. I love when she sneaks up from behind the camera!

Entertaining as always. Totally here for the recent trend of more Meredith analysis, too.

I think it would be pretty cool if after you did a couple of these, you took what you've and make actual food versions of the cocktail. So for the cherry whiskey smash maybe take out mint, add in something else, and name it.

Something that I like and I think you should try if you haven't, A margarita (daisy) sub rum (2 oz) for tequila (I used plantation 5-year, I also like it with Appleton estate 4 year), lime juice ( 1 oz), triple sec or a dry Curaçao (1oz), and demerara simple syrup ( between a half an ounce to 1 oz depending on how sweet you like it), and top with 3-4 drops of orange bitters ( optional).

Greg if you want a flavored whiskey to use in an Old Fashioned, I recommend trying Rebel Root Beer Whiskey. Works great with either a lemon or an orange twist. I know Rebel Whiskey is a cheaper brand, but the Root Beer flavor really works as an Old Fashioned.

I hope you bring out more of the wheel. It’s a fun way to try new things that you’d never expect or try. I might have to do something like that. Lol

Needs a part two with the rest of the flavored whiskeys. And there needs to a quest to find the best classic cocktails to use the ones already used. Plus if these are already sweetened, cut back on any syrup being added to balance them. You really won't lose the essence of the cocktail if you dial that back down if you're already using a sweetened main spirit.

OMG, "We got a Peach Crown Royal Dice Bag". Bruh, you are *legit*. Mad respect here, one nerd to another. That said, Greg. Seriously. Make drinks I might want to make and drink. Just a suggestion, one tipsy gamer to another.

I have very little room for flavored spirits in my home bar. I’ve been sitting on a bottle of peanut butter whiskey for a while, with a little idea what to do with it. The one notable exception was watermelon rum which literally just tasted like a jolly rancher. I essentially exclusively mixed it with lemonade and it was pretty delicious. It almost literally every other case I would rather just add syrup or juice.

I have to say that the longer I watch this episode the more I want the format to change a bit, I really like the idea of Greg just spinning the wheel three or four times, picking a corresponding number of cocktails from the skull, and then matching them to make what he thinks would be the best pairings. Maybe just so he'll hurt himself less, but I also think that it sounds like a better show.

I’ve always loved really sweet really fruity flavours in general (like in sodas or desserts, not so much in my alcohol but still) My point is I’ve tried a lot of fruit flavoured things and I’ve always said that certain types of both peach and mango flavouring have a very vomit-like taste to them, like it’s subtle and sort of in the back of your throat but it’s definitely there and I struggle a lot to find actually good not vomit-y peach or mango flavoured things So I’m glad to know I’m not the only one I guess!
