This solved my biggest luggage issue, the luggage tipping over when moving over cracks. And honestly, I don't think I can go back. Contact : kylemas.channel@gmail.com

I was sitting here debating between this and one from Heys, but when you mentioned Japan, that’s where I’m going and you just helped me make the decision. The backpack hack is exactly how I figured I’d use it. Thank you!

That’s awesome! Thanks so much, glad I could help. Japans gonna be so fun!

I love that you compared it to Monos. Monos is the first nice luggage I ever bought. I couldn’t believe it when I was rolling my carry-on, with a bag slipped over the handles, over the edge of a people mover and it stopped and almost tipped over. I also felt that there is a lot of wasted space and design with Monos. I can’t believe how smoothly the suitcases rolled in your carpet! Also, I like how you spun and parked them, lol.😊

Hey, yea no problem. The monos was also the first nice luggage I've had so it was great to compare to , to determine if I'd keep it or not. I made this video after taking the monos in Japan with a backpack on top and walking ALOT over bumpy surfaces, and honestly it was at risk of tipping over so much I just got frustrated. Haha, also, would you believe me that I got that opening shot on the first try? I was prepared to keep doing that until I got it right.

So incredibly helpful! This is exactly the information I've been looking for! I couldn't really differentiate between the handles but this really broke it down, especially how it handles smoothly!

We just bought the Level 8 carry on (yellow) and its FANTASTIC. I really like the wide handle.... and we never slip an additional bag over the handle anyway... so again, we REALLY like the wide handle. We just went on a New Zealand Cruise and our large rolling duffle (I call the beast) started to tear at one end. So now I am considering buying the large Voyageur Check-In 30". Depending on where we are going (like an ocean cruise), we will sometimes bring the "Beast" and a carry-on. Thanks for the great review

Wow! This is the actually the first super thanks I’ve ever gotten, I really appreciate it. It’s great to know I helped you out (hopefully). I started making these videos for fun because I couldn’t find videos that broke down products the way I liked…..and this stuff is expensive! People should go in with all the facts.

awesome review! been wanting to know the diff between those handles and surely, you covered it all. Just curious though, are the zippers of the check in luggage double-coiled?
@EDG5 ай бұрын
thanks! I believe they're single coil.

I love the idea of the wide handle but not being able to put my personal item is a deal breaker. I have 2 monos carry-ons and haven’t experienced what you said - maybe because I have a personal item on top that helps balance the weight? I like level 8 though, especially the handles being on the side and creating a flat surface for packing. Hopefully they’ll make their own personal items that fit the handle
@EDG7 ай бұрын
Yep, makes sense, it's one very large drawback for sure. Thats good! While I was using my personal item on my monos, it actually made it worse because it became more top-heavy, that thing was tipping all the time. But yea, Level8 is pretty cool, but I do swap it out with a normal roller when I need a personal bag.

2024 Jan: the level 8 check in featured is $454.99 CAD. The Monos medium check in is $385. These voyager bags must have seen a huge price increase since filming of this video. They are $70 more expensive Than Monos now for the 26” vs med check in back.
@EDG5 ай бұрын
Are you sure? The level8 is still cheaper in the US. Monos check in is $355, level8 is $309. I can’t imagine that price difference being the opposite for Canada.

I’m considering purchasing the 20” and 26” bundle once the all black luggage bundles for these are in stock. Would have opted for the 28” suitcase if it wasn’t 4” too wide for British airways
@EDG10 ай бұрын
Thats great to hear! yea, the 28" is pretty large.

Great video thanks a lot, I am searching through the level 8 carry on for a trip to europe, so very useful, have you tried the Level 8 Texture Carry or the Road Runner?

Thanks for the nice comment! Nope I haven’t tried it. Are those the ones you’re looking at?

I was wondering if you have tried the ROAM Carry on? I've been torn between this one And that one.
@EDG5 ай бұрын
I haven’t! But they’re in two different price classes, so if you want the lifetime warranty, color customization, and a laptop pocket (depending on he model) go with roam. But you can have two of those level8 for the price of Roams carry on. I may review the ROAM in the next few months.

I just wish it had a charging port. I love this bag but a port would make it perfect. I fill like I could add a strap to connect a piece the the handle possibly.

I would assume there are no annoying bars in the middle of the suitcase, and instead they are off to the sides.
@EDG7 ай бұрын
You would assume correctly. That was one of the cool benefits about these, made packing really easy.

Can you measure the depth of the carry on and does it squish down at all? I’m worried that it won’t meet the 9” depth limit of most airlines.
@EDG11 ай бұрын
It's a bit over 9" and it doesnt really compress.

The wide handle can no longer accommodate any bags with a handle opening at the back on top of it :( Do I need to replace all my accessories now?

not necessarily, I still think there are work arounds like I mentioned in the video.
