Ray brought us his 2020 Shelby GT500 late last year for our serialized CX1100R package. What made this build special is that Ray's car had already been heavily modified as a Shelby American GT500 Signature Edition, complete with a widebody kit, tons of carbon fiber, and more!

Hands down sickest looking Mustang (and sounding) I’ve ever seen. Wide-body and vented carbon fibre hood makes it. That note on the dyno when climbing to peak revs and then winding back down is to die for. Eargasm.

I started out with a 99 V6 convertible Mustang when I was 18. A couple years later I got an 04 GT that had a supercharger and a bunch of other mods. I’ve always been a fan of the Mustang. What these new Shelby’s are doing is mind blowing. Such amazing pieces of machinery and technology. To get that much power out of them is astonishing. I’d love to own a GT500. Hopefully someday.

It’s my "dream" to own a Mustang at 18. But the base price for a ECOboost in Germany is around 50k. That’s very expensive but I hope i can get one.

I look up 2022 gt500 msrp and it says $77,000. I found one from my local dealer for $139,000. This market is ass. Manufacturers should step in and do something. Dealers are really turning customers off.

Not 100% sure but we believe it is lowered. Shelby American upgraded the Front/Rear springs, Sway Bars, etc as part of the Signature Edition package

Any warranty offered if you do ALL the work and all the tuning? Nelson Racing Engines offers 2 yr 24 month on their Twin Turbo LS engines as long as they do all the tuning and its not changed. All engines from N/A up to their 1800 HP TT 427ci.

And they have a very bad reputation. No warranties on performance work like this. Way too many factors involved that are controlled by the customer if the car is handled improperly. Most warranties you see like you mentioned don't ever get paid out on. Mostly a marketing ploy

@@PalmBeachDyno ....Nelson locks the ECU (PCM) so nobody can change their tune. But they do offer that warranty. But I've also never heard of a street engine of theirs failing, that I know of. Lingenfelter also offers 2 yr/24,000 mile warranties on all of their Twin Turbo engine packages. As well a Hennessey. I would only really buy from a very reputable company if a warranty is what I wanted.

Their engines are in many South Florida cars, they have great support and are a very high caliber company in this industry. I was going to get their TT 454ci LSX but the $48,000 price tag is just too high. My LSX iron 390ci should put down 1,600 RWHP with a big single turbo, at half the price of an NRE set up. But it'll never last as long and be as daily driver friendly as a NRE engine.

This car should be the 1st result when you Google, "Wow". My first new car I bought was a 1990 Silver Anniversary Edition Mustang GT, I thought that was fast. 😂 225 hp, 300 lb-ft of torque, 5-speed manual powertrain ... estimation this Ford would accelerate 0-60 mph in 6.4 sec.
