this art call sampling is supposed to hide the sample so no one knows wut you sampled . and to hide it from the original artist to not have to clear it if your chops filtered ,pitched, rearranged or reversed ,they mite not notice it

Killer video. Never seen anyone work like that. The MPC is so versatile. I sure wish the MPC would allow recording of pad mutes like track mutes. When you work on tracklib like they do they charge credits for every chop or do they just charge you once for the whole song/stem?
@rubberjacketoff7 ай бұрын
You can record pad mutes by using global automation "write mode"

They find them. They always do. I remember sampling bad things by The Cult before Cole flipped it. Nowadays producers have musicians make the royalty free samples for them which helps with clearance

I hate Culture Vultures (looking at some of these clown ass comments). I appreciate Jae Freshman to the utmost with his tutorials for the MPC, but Boom Bap-wise THERE'S NOTHING BETTER THAN DIGGING FOR VINYL! Leave that Tracklib/Splice ish alone.

we from different times bro , i didnt come from the era of diggin for samples and tracklib is no different bro , things will continue to innovate and plus it more convenient , i can only imagine how hard it is to clear a track you found diggin or time consuming vs having a tracklib subscription and having it already cleared for you ,but either way i aint tryna convince no one but just showing people my way of how i like to create , im not into senseless battles with producers on how they want to create music, definitely appreciate you for tuning in i dont care about them comments
