It’s crazy because i followed along to the video you dropped two weeks ago and I didn’t want to copy the same exact thing you were doing so i found a different acapella to chop and this week you are using the same one. I sent you the link on IG. Appreciate everything you do for the culture bro. You’re really the best teacher out there when it comes to MPC production.

This is a incredible find and is just unbelievable how nice you are on the MPC. But the real gem in this video is how you just demonstrated how quick and easy it is to di in FL versus the MPC. How bout the Akai license the same algorthim so we can do it like its done in FL. Com on Akai!!!!!

For me the weak point of the MPC is the time stretch it's really very complicated I don't understand Akai's logic at this level despite your video I still don't understand I prefer to do it on FL and transfer it to the MPC too much step for somthing very simple i hop an update to simplify this

All the tutorials are too fast. I'm studying the 800 page mpc Bible. Much easier to remember on paper. Yeah. I printed it all out.

What is the difference between extract and discard?
@chokboywonda5 сағат бұрын
It will tell you when you go to do it. Extract will extract the portion from the sample and then you can create a new sample. Discard will get rid of everything outside of the selected portion and leave you with the original sample minus the discarded elements.

Sorry, but I don't get it Why do you need to stretch the sample second time, wouldn't it be perfect in the first place?
@_thevaporzСағат бұрын
I think he stretched a second time to match his project tempo and this method "swings" better.
@ronniecheatem26826 сағат бұрын
Using the loop as a audio clip allows you to time stretch and place the loop where you want like the fl playlist

the only problem with doing this is that it will eventually take up alot of ram & you will see a bunch of one shots you dont need loaded up. if only there was a dedicated sound audition function similar to how Battery 3 had.

How do I get my pads to chop back to the same way you are showing in example I chop by hitting the pads right somehow it changed and I can only chop by holding pad one then when I’m ready for the next move to the next one instead of just hitting the pad it switched randomly when I went into controller mode

Peace! I have a quicc question you possibly can help me solve. I’ve had a situation where all of my sounds on the pads somehow stop sounding out loud when they were hit. I can’t recall what buttons were touched that caused this. The music is still heard but I can’t hear any sounds when I hit the pads. I experienced the same problem on my Renaissance years ago after hitting certain buttons. I can’t remember which buttons a hit to solve the problem. Can you help me out? Edited: I solved the problem by going into record mode while playing a sequence and holding down the erase button. All of a sudden the pads had sound on them again. I’m left confused🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
