Hi..i just upgraded all the speakers in MY24 with kicker speakers. The 4in in the dash, 6.5s in the kick panels and got the Mabett pods with 6.5s and the 6.75 kicker sub. Actually sounds great already with a few FORSCAN mods. I think this amp would really make it it sounds even better. Where did you get the plug and play harness?

You did it wrong. Audio quality is different when you plug into the vehicle with car play as opposed to Bluetooth. But since it’s over a year I’m sure you’ve figured that out.

I really appreciate your great video. Stupid question but I was wondering if the balance & fade functions the same way with the amp installed as it did before. If you change the balance and fade does that mean you have now messed up the DSP settings? Thanks!

Its bc ford either still makes one of the parts, either speaker or amp. If the amp sucks the speakers will too… if the amp sucks, the speakers will regardless of quality

Just an FYI, my buddy has the B&O upgrade in his bronco and it still sounds like garbage. Ford really cheaped out on the sound quality for this vehicle. Also, can I ask what molle panel you're running on your center console?

So frustrated right now, I finished the bi amp key setup, all fine, happy tone, the music was playing nicely, moved to gain matching and fried both tweeters with the 50hz test tone, no limiter red light was shown or anything. I'm still trying to understand why the amp was sending such low frequencies to the tweeter. What could have happened, fader was OFF, Bi amp on, kicker EQ off, compression OFF, using just front channels, woofers connected to hear outputs, tweeter to front outputs. Didn't the Key setup separate the frequencies properly? why the tweeter got burned while woofer was not even close to limit and red light didn't come up?

I'm already set on getting one of these as well. Thank you for the walk through of the installation, I'll be referencing this when I do my install. I cannot say if it is a limitation of the YT audio codec, but the audio you played comes across as missing a significant portion of the higher frequencies - they sound compressed/crunchy. I'm uncertain if you play compress audio (ie. streamed, mp3, itunes, etc) or if you play directly from an original CD or a FLAC file, as that would have a profound impact on the audio quality. As per bass increase, that is entirely dependent on your speak size. A 4 or 6 inch speaker will never produce bass even remotely close to an 8, 10 or 12 inch (or larger) speaker.

I’ve only had my Bronco for a few days, but I’ve had a number of problems with the radio already. Mainly when using CarPlay. Freezing and latency. Today I cranked up and went to back out and the whole screen went black and was unresponsive to anything. Had to turn off the car and turn it back on. Ever had these kinds of issues? I have the small screen like yours.

Great video. I have read a bunch of information about this amp. My understanding is that in order to get the base out of a factory head unit adding an LOC, line out put converter thingy will do that… I’ve never installed anything in a car before, I have a KIA Sportage, and I am going to give it a try. Thanks for the video, now I have a better idea of what it will be like to install.

Wild u ripped ur car apart. Just so u know in the back seat on the passanger side is dummy box u take out and put the amp and kicker sub in lol 😂

I believe the amp needs to be connected to the ACM in the front. Installing in the back would make that difficult. Also, some broncos do come with an actual sub both B&O and non B&O

If I missed it, I apologize, did you change the size of your rear speakers? I put KS' all around. Size for size swap. I didn't know that you could go to 6 1/2 in the rear... I'm definitely getting this amp... Thanks!
