About:
After the OGL (Open Gaming License) scandal of 2023, Jakin decided to try TTRPGS (Tabletop Roleplaying Games) other than D&D (Dungeons & Dragons). He tried Pathfinder 2e (Second Edition) and even streamed it with his friends. After a few sessions, it was clear the game wasn't for him. He enjoyed being a player, but not running the game. Later that year, he attended GenCon with the OSQ (One Shot Questers) crew and got to play test the Dungeon Coach's DC20. Ever since then, Jakin has been obsessed with game. He quickly convinced all of his current D&D home games to convert to the DC20 system and he hasn't looked back. Some features that stand out to him are the Action Points, the Ancestry Points, how similar it is to D&D, and how you don't have to roll damage! Unlike Pathfinder's 3 action economy, DC20 has a four action economy that allows the players to move, attack, defend, or give themselves advantage. With the Ancestry Points, two players can play a Human and have totally different ancestry features! In DC20, you don't roll damage. Instead, each weapon has a base damage. So when you roll to attack, if you meat or beat the PD (physical defense), you deal that damage! PLUS, for every increment of 5 that you go over the PD, you get to add an additional point of damage!
