I'm 46 and have been pagan for about 25 years, and it's so wonderful seeing people so spiritually confident and tuned in at a young age. It really gives me hope for the future, and I totally agree that connecting to our earth spirituality and divine feminine is at the core of changing our collective consciousness so that we do make the change in how we live on Earth. My own spiritual practice is very linked to my permaculture practice and spending time in nature, but I agree the witch identity is powerful... for me Starhawk's writing and 'witch camp' was a transformative moment on my path, back in the 90s :)

❤❤❤❤❤ Im a witch that came out of the closet after being a practicing Muslim for 25 years… I’ve nothing against Muslims and the religion, but it suppressed my gifts by saying it’s demonic. As a child I had strong psychic gifts and i suppressed it all because i was scared of hell… I mean i was a child. Now I know hell doesn’t exist and if it does it’s the reality we create and is created in the 3D nothing more and nothing else. Hell is your own fear of whatever you fear… bless you guys

Hello from a Kenyan 👋🏿 The maasai God is “enkai”, an androgynous being with both the feminine and masculine. We freed ourselves from British colonialism in 1963, the same year and month Brad Pitt was born (so not that long ago). Our culture was wiped out with Anglo Christian values/ education. We are still figuring ourselves out.

I have deep memory / cell memory of being a Witch - I can not explain this at all, but I do have an intensity of awareness because of this. I can not tell you how many times I am flooded w/ Religious people with their beliefs -at work even, and I just want to shout out "leave me alone - I am a WITCH!!" Its sad how the word Witch has been so tainted but we need to bring it back alive. Apart of me just wants to be Tiffaney not claim any label, but this is what I most identify (also with the Indigenous) - All I know is, I am Natures Daughter and even with all the unconsciousness I send them love. A witch is not who you ARE though, and I hear you say you know that. Religion is a label. Like, saying “I am Christian.” No you’re not. You can follow Christian teachings but you are not that. You can believe in nature and manifestation and practice witchcraft, but you are not a witch. Right? We need to let go of all labels because we are none of those conceptual things.

For as long as I can remember I’ve had this deep inherited pull towards Paganism and Witchcraft. As if it’s buried in my bones, regardless if I try to shake it or not. My whole life I’ve gone back and forth & in between my heart, which is the Craft and my head which is the Bible & Christianity. Which undoubtedly leaves me riddled with grief and stuck stagnant in between the two.

I just stumbled upon this and couldn't be more thrilled with this magnificent conversation! The interviewer was amazing, he's so intelligent, thoughtful and well-spoken and clearly has his own wisdom. And the magical bombs from the witch were astounding. So much goodness here, my heart is beaming with love and gratitude for these beautiful souls. Funny, I've done my own moon ceremonies over the years but felt called to hold a full moon circle this coming Sat. (Sept. 10) but didn't feel like I was good enough (I also know I have a lot of past life persecution for being a witch) but now I'm inspired to just go for it and I have at least half a dozen beautiful, witchy women who are game to participate. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. ❤️

There are people on here that don't understand that magic is not evil, it's the individual person that makes it good or bad. It's what you do with it that matters. Also if you don't understand what you are doing when you are casting a spell and do it incorrectly of course something possibly bad will happen, especially if your wanting to do something bad with it to someone or any living being

This was an awesome conversation. Mia is wonderful. I love how she is encouraged that a 25 yo André is on his spiritual journey and contributing a lot to the world. As someone who's just a few years younger than him, it gives me a lot of joy. I've learned a lot from her and I am now on a clearer path to channel my inner wizard. Interestingly, when doing a spiritual ceremony with my friends in 2021, I had a vision of me being a wizard. It was amazing and, since then, I had a better idea of where I am heading. I also love how she explains etymology and how she "morphs" her own words (morphology being the study of the formation of words). I created the French word "Sophiard" as a translation of "wizard" because it resonates more with me (French is also my native language). As she said, witch/wizard, etc mean wise, so I just took the Greek word for wise, Sophia, and added the same suffix, -ard, which means brave/courageous. I love playing with words and Mia made my etymology nerd side happy. Thank you. It was a great pleasure to listen deeply 😊

The practice of filling cracks and broken pieces with gold is so beautiful. Because we can all be broken and used up at times, but to know yourself, know your connection with the great beyond and trust that the people around you will fill your cracks with gold, you now become something priceless, an heirloom, a piece of the puzzle to behold and appreciate. Because you allowed the precious gold of the universe to put you back together again. Amen! Those who strive for glamour or glimmers are not looking into themselves or building within themselves the trust with the source. The direct voice of guidence is something you have have to let in. It will never fight your freedom on this earth. That is god. God loves you, but he gives you the choice of letting him and her love you. God is the heavens and the earth. It is everything you've ever known. So learning your shadow self and finding peace with it, you can finally let your greater self have the foundation it deserves and that we all need on this planet.

I had an instant vision when I was 9. When I spoke it out loud my mother slapped my face so hard I completely shut down. I remember the moment as though it was yesterday. Sixty one trips around the sun and I still experience the binding and choked feeling in my throat when I have a vision and my intuition kicks into high alert. I find myself very guarded with my words and expressions. It is rather like being suffocated. How does one open the gateway to speaking one’s truth of visions without being scorned?

Don't get me wrong it's a balance act we need to discern with logic and love, yes an oxymoron in all ways but so true. What I might add to one scale or another is individual to me. I never had a real father and mother. Was raised in an abusive foster home. Still have burn scars. I latched on to Christianity to feel loved. Gave everything away that I owned except the clothes I had on to become a missionary to the poorest of the poor. None of it worked out for me. Started to study Wicca /witchcraft. Love the male and female deities. They have become my true actual parents. Thought at first I was getting into another gender dominated religion after getting out of one. I strive to see both genders of deity as 100% equal as there is no creation without both. Both are equally important as one cannot exist without the other. Nor would any of us exist without the other. Wicca/Witchcraft can tend to lean toward the Goddess much more than the God. I left a gender dominance religion already. I feel there needs to be more of an over all emphasis on gender equality of deity as it seems to be in nature its self. Still it's better than what I had before.

Just like the word “Isis”, the female goddess. She was both the protector of women and the bringer of magic. She was known as the goddess of the moon. As the goddess of life and magic, Isis protected women and children, and healed the sick. Great mother Isis, the goddess of healing and magic, was crucial to ancient Egyptian religious beliefs. She is known today by her Greek name Isis; however, the ancient Egyptians called her Aset. Her name translates to “Queen of the Throne” which is reflected in her headdress, which is typically a throne. And now in present day, when a person hears the word Isis, it stands for the Islamic state of Iraq & Syria, and ppl think of terrorists

Fantastic. What a sweetheart! I love the play with words "into witchin' " Yeah! As affirming my kinesthetic energetic sensitivities as a healer, in Los Angeles at the same age as this young mia... (now 71)... a path as that of *being* a witch, and yes sooo in love with the Earth... And the love keeps on changing, growing. And at 71 it's no longer about claiming your power, no longer needing listening for the voice of your own wisdom, no longer the "est" -ness of self or even very much about yourself at all. Instead it becomes about shedding self. Shedding the self as affirmation! Not knowing anymore who you are... is... Nothing... but becoming, without any effort remaining, at All... Gaia. The Goddess. Breathing you out is now breathing you in again, and there is no need... No, rush. Yet in hearing this remembering... No rush! No rush to get anywhere. Remembering, you will swim easily upon finding yourself in water. 💦🐬💦

More proof that society sucks. We are taught from very young that we can't do any of these things. This isn't "normal". I healed myself from several accidentally self inflicted (if I hadn't been doing what I was doing, I wouldn't have been hurt) injuries over the years, and doing so scared everyone around me. Especially when I talk about being able to heal. My grandmother thought I was possessed, my mother's favorite line was "You're not the second coming of Christ, knock it off". My healing ability doesn't seem to work very well on other humans, but I have a 19 year old husky dog who seems to be able to live forever, I have another who's been hit by a car and shot 2 times, I've healed her every time. Over the years, there's been hundreds of animals I've been able to help. Humans seem to have some kind of block. I think it's our childhood training, that only certain people can do these things, so we, as individuals, just can't. So long as we think and say we can't, we really cannot. Didn't mean to write a book, but maybe someone out in KZbin verse needs to hear my story. Be blessed in all you do💞

@@violakarl6900 Mostly just concentration and focus on the injury or illness. If I focus well enough my hands start to warm up, that's how I know it's working. I actually don't know, or at least, can't explain, exactly what I'm doing. The first injury I healed was myself. I fell off a horse and broke my back. Spent a lot of time focused inside and listening to my inner voice, just following my own heartbeat and feeling where the blood was going, then finding where it was blocked off and stopped. As I found each blockage or broken connection, I just focused and opened it back up or put it back together. I still ride horses, and I can still walk, even though my doctors at the time said I'd be paraplegic for the rest of my life. I know people who have healed sicknesses, cancers, breaks and damage from car wrecks. This IS possible.

by Becky Hemsley She sat at the back and they said she was shy, She led from the front and they hated her pride, They asked her advice and then questioned her guidance, They branded her loud, then were shocked by her silence, When she shared no ambition they said it was sad, So she told them her dreams and they said she was mad, They told her they'd listen, then covered their ears, And gave her a hug while they laughed at her fears, And she listened to all of it thinking she should, Be the girl they told her to be best as she could, But one day she asked what was best for herself, Instead of trying to please everyone else, So she walked to the forest and stood with the trees, She heard the wind whisper and dance with the leaves, She spoke to the willow, the elm and the pine, And she told them what she'd been told time after time, She told them she felt she was never enough, She was either too little or far far too much, Too loud or too quiet, too fierce or too weak, Too wise or too foolish, too bold or too meek, Then she found a small clearing surrounded by firs, And she stopped...and she heard what the trees said to her, And she sat there for hours not wanting to leave, For the forest said nothing, it just let her breathe. - Becky Hemsley

I just experienced discrimination in Bullhead and Laughlin for practicing Kabbalah/ naturalism…. I consider myself jewish but I take some practices from paganism but I’m a strong believer in monotheism yet I enjoy reading about Oshun and other gods for archetypes…. I like to learn about multiple religions but my neighbors found out about my practices because I would do some things outside and it’s unfortunate that they think I’m ridiculous or crazy without even getting to know me. I would have wanted to teach them about things that they take for granted but oh well…. I was the town witch even though I didn’t really want anyone to know- I wasn’t boasting it because I’m naturally introverted but it’s sad that they had prejudice… it’s a small town so if one person finds out then they gossip… i am 31 and I didn’t meet a lot of people my age who enjoyed reading like I do. Anyway I ended up moving out of Laughlin because the gossip got so out of hand. People thought I worshipped the devil which isn’t true at all. Oh well. I’m happier in California now

I'm glad she explained the hat. I5 honestly triggered me a bit at first, I was like, " this is stupid!" but I listened anyways and found she and I have a lot in common. I also love making up words. I am a Vveird Vvitch and Mia is ()ssum.

I don’t think it’s natural, especially as women, to go out alone in nature. I realized this when I was pregnant that I wanted to go out in nature with others and I felt vulnerable alone. We have been communal beings most of our history. It’s only in recent times that we are pushed to be alone all the time. Strength is connecting with nature AND others 🤝❤
