I'm glad you think there's something good about both, because the only thing I criticize about Maxwell is his interpretation. Not his voice. Which is nowhere near as bad as those Maxwell fans who say "Kate is complete trash" and can barely bring themselves to give her credit for the songwriting at the very least.

I love this song so much, and nothing has surpassed Kate's original (not even Maxwell's version), but yours is now my favorite cover. Most covers are either too melodramatic, or the singer just can't cut it. And I love that your vocal is raw, not overproduced. Wish I had your falsetto.
