It also works with the evil twin quest that summon a copy of your highest health unit. You can do some funny stuff with that and impulsive trickster to get crazy high health units

I feel like Beetles are generally fair, it just feels horrible that it's only 3 and 4-stars that make the build work. The Beast 6-drops are pretty much useless these days (Mount is okay for tempo, that's about it), and as Shady explains here, Progenitor is just not strong enough to warrant a space on the board. Maybe the solution is to nerf the lower beetles and buff Progenitor, but I'm not sure it's possible to bring it to a balanced state.

Progenitor feels so bad with avenge 4, either it dies before giving you a buff or you only get +2/+2 per battle.

Make it a 6 drop and avenge 2 gives +2/+2 or sth like this, I don't know. As you said, beetles have an overall good design in general but it feels kinda off regarding the tiers

Mabye make Progenitor summon two beetles on death, or make it get affected by beetle buffs, so it’s something you transition to late game while still keeping some scaling.

Beetles are not fair man, what are you talking about... Maybe an indirect way to nerf Beetles is to not give the stats to the 4 drop spell that gives you 2 Beetles. I mean that can give you a lot of tempo while you're farming the stats. That, for 1 gold, it's super unfair.

it should be exponential scaling, like the 6 star naga and blood gems, and nerf the mult scaling build with brann and titus

I got over 1000 beetle health because I got 2 reborn Rylaks and 2 whites with a macaw and Titus with all my minions golden. Won with 8 hp, but got 1st easily once I scaled enough.

Got beetles up to a natural ~700/500 with a very lucky early golden Bran/Macaw/Rylak/Titus. Seems like the only comp i can win consistently with because the good cards are on lower tiers. Most other comps I get smacked down early.

I noticed this when the card was released since it never mentioned undead. Plus it works with goldrin, automaton, that tier 4 undead. I was waiting for them to add some summon hand murlocs back and abuse this
