I’m actually really glad you covered this. I’ve known for a long time that these are fake, but my brothers (who are fans of Preston) haven’t. My problem with these faked videos is that kids inevitably find out they're fake by trying them themselves, and then they'll feel like they've been lied to by their favorite creator. You can make fun and engaging content for kids without lying to them. For example, say you make a video about going to the moon in Minecraft. Instead of lying that you can do this in vanilla Minecraft, you can add a disclaimer that you need a mod to do this, and maybe even link to a tutorial on how to download and install mods. That way, you can still make a fun video without lying to children about it.

Heres the thing tho i remember as a kid watching gta myth videos (yeah i was like 12 playing gta everyone does it) and i would go onto the game to search for aliens or bigfoot or the lochness monster and be sad that they werent real... But then one day i watched a video about haunted ghost cars in a forest... Went in game... And it was 100% true! It scared the hell out of me.. I watched them absolutly fascinated.. Trying to figure out why and how it was happening... And now i have a career in game QA so i track down these myths and bugs as a full time job lol. Soo these kinda vids changed my entire life as a kid and inspired me to persue my career. So i hope his vids are doing the same for others :) The fact the other vids were fake never crossed my mind it was about the adventure / story and fun of going and looking for yourself and for me that one time it turned out to actually be real.
