I actually got stalked when I was 14 by a senior at high school. It didn't necessarily traumatize me, but I do always worry now about people at my school following me and I always keep all of my curtains closed and locked because otherwise I feel like someone's looking in. Thankfully, this stalking didn't go very far, he just followed me around, would do whatever I did (in terms of clubs), and always sat next to me and reminded me that he knew where I lived. I think he assumed I was interested in him, because the threats and insults only began after I started ignoring him (he had been making me uncomfortable, pinning me or going through my things out of nowhere). It's not super uncommon for freshman girls to get sexually harassed by senior guys though- it's a problem. I had 2 other guys harassing me in addition to that guy, and I was only at that school for 7 months in total. Still, yeah. I wouldn't make videos about it unless it was to call them out (for example, if I heard they were harassing other people I planned to report them, but since I knew I wouldn't see them forever I didn't. Obviously, not saying to other people that you should give people like this the benefit of the doubt, I just hate confrontation)

I've been stalked on and off for the past two years by a guy who tried to assault me in my old job. He's tried to follow me to my new store, is banned but tries to enter anyway and when he gets told he can't hell explode at me, calling me names, saying I ruined his life, that I need to dissappear etc. He'll then spend the next weeks /months hanging around my store until the end of my shift and try to approach me on my way home etc. I am not having a great time, and reporting it to the police has pretty much got me nowhere. He's recently started up again and the security at my work has insisted on calling the police again but I have little faith anything will happen. For clarification : I in no way ruined his life. Although he was arrested for assault, the charges got dropped to threatening behaviour and he never faced any jail time, just two years probation and a small fine. He in no way needs to be near my work. He knows he's banned, has been for two years and there's plenty of shops within walking distance(not even five minutes away) that offer the same things/similar prices and even the same branch that he can go to. He knows that I don't want to talk to him but literally spends all his time hanging around my work, glaring at me or trying to approach me, and it's not just me, plenty of other people have noticed and have tried to corroborate (at one one particular point my housemate started to walk me home from work because he was worried about me and the guy started to follow him around as well) but the police didn't even want to speak to them. Under the polices advice I have been keeping a diary of all encounters and incidents but they haven't even tried/are not interested in looking at it The reason I am particularly worried is in the original incident I has had locked myself behind a high counter of which he couldn't get over and he knew the police were on the way. He told me then that even if he couldn't get me then(because he knew he was going to be arrested) , he'd come back for me later.

I can’t believe they faked this, it’s awful especially since I was actually stalked by my fiancé. We were together for 7 years then when I ended things because he would pull “pranks” on me basically pretending to be injured and things like that, he told me his sister killed herself when she was pregnant with his nephew, he also told me that I’m trapped with him. After we have sex he would tell me that he wants to trap me with a baby and then he will force me to marry him, it was just crazy things like that, the worst one was when he lied about being raped, I was molested when I was 8 years old and then raped multiple times when I was 12, I also had an abusive boyfriend when I was 13 and we were together for 5 years. I had enough of the lies and shit, so I ended things the day he was allegedly going to propose to me, then a few weeks later he would break into the house at night and I would wake up with him in my bed this was every night for 4 weeks I even tried to change the locks but that didn’t do much, I brought a dog because of it too. After that he left me alone so I thought things were back to normal, he would turn up at my work and just watch me, even when I went clothes shopping he would watch me from outside the shop, I always had this feeling that someone was watching me so I told my sister and her husband is a police detective so he said he will get someone to watch the house at night so I’m not scared. It didn’t stop there, I thought things were fine I even brang my friends over and just did the usual things I would do, then one night I got a message from this app called POF (plenty of fish), it was just someone new that had started talking to me, we texted back and forth for 9 months then he asked to meet me so we agreed on a time and place, when I got there he was a good looking man, tall, had piercings and tattoos and he had these icy blue eyes that I had seen before (my ex), but something about the way he talked and laughed and even some of his facial features reminded me of my crazy ex, so I kept saying things like I’m sure I know you and he would just change the subject and laugh it off. So now me and this guy went on a few dates and one night I brang him back to my place, by then I had known him for a year, we were drinking wine and talking, to be honest I really enjoyed his company because this was the first time since the breakup that I was dating someone. One thing led to another and we were in the bedroom, he stayed the night in the morning I got up first for work and he was still asleep so I left a note telling him I have gone to work and that he can help himself to food. So a few weeks had gone by and I’m still dating this guy but I start getting really bad sickness, I told my sister and she kept making jokes saying I’m pregnant, I denied it but I knew something wasn’t right since I had missed my period that was due the week before, we did a test that was positive I even went to the doctors to confirm it and he told me all I needed to know, he assigned me to a midwife that I had to call that day and he told me all of my options. Anyway I told the guy I was dating and he just said I told you I was going to trap you with my baby, I was really confused and then he just sends me a picture of what he looked like before the piercings and tattoos and I said to him I told you that you look like my ex even more without the tattoos and piercings (he had a tongue piercing and an eyebrow piercing, and he had a sleeve of tattoos on his right arm), he didn’t reply for a few hours but when he got back he said that’s because I am your ex I just got tattoos and that so you wouldn’t recognise me. I panicked so I told my sister and her husband, we couldn’t go to the police because I was pregnant with his baby and I didn’t want our child to grow up without a father, so he got a strike and a warning they even asked me if I wanted a restraining order against him but it was too late for that now. It’s now been 3 years since this and I gave birth to two beautiful babies, a girl and a boy they are 2 years old, I made my ex go get help before the babies were born, we are still together though because of the babies. He is doing better and has promised not to put me through that again, I had to get help because what he did messed with my mental health and I was diagnosed with paranoia and ptsd, but I’m doing better. He actually proposed to me two years ago and we shall soon be getting married but I will never forget this experience, I like to organise a fundraiser for people who have been traumatised because of people stalking, it can really mess you up, like I started losing my mind because I didn’t have evidence of him stalking me but I always knew it because I would keep seeing him everywhere I went, so I like to raise awareness to the traumatic side of it, like what people don’t necessarily see. I’m sorry this is kinda long but I just felt like sharing my traumatic experience, my fiancé is all good now though, he got help and is getting better and I’m great now I’m just focusing on our two beautiful babies to be honest
