Poor mama! It sucks she broke your window but I really think she was trying to be good by getting outside. I'm glad you show the hardships that can come along with fostering as well. A lot of work and time comes with the responsibility of fostering animals. Joey seems to have the perfect temperament and heart for it.

Hey Joey! Dogs are naturally lactose intolerant and diarrhea is a common symptom for dogs to show when eating dairy as they don't have the enzyme lactase to break down lactose found in milk and ice cream. Not meant as any criticism to you of any sort, just thought you should know

Just an FYI....Most females do get diarrhea after giving birth. It's from eating all the afterbith. It usually results on its own after a few days. You also have to take into account that she is eating much better now that she is with Joey and her body needs some time to adjust. ❤

I always understood that if you're able to assist birthing pups (or kittens) it's not necessary for all the afterbirth to be eaten by the mom.

I absolutely love the idea of naming them after birthstones! Ruby, Garnet, and Pearl sound so pretty. Also, you could definitely give them nicknames based on the stone for example: Amy = Amethyst or Emma = Emerald

The diarrhea might be because of the ice cream. Animals are generally lactose intolerant. Most mammals are born with the ability to digest lactose, however this usually only lasts while they are young.

Dog ice cream that joey was getting has no lactose in them. The diarrhea is pretty normal after birth for a little while and if she isn’t used to eating the food joey is feeding her could be the reason for the squirts.

(accident at doggy daycare) seven of them (Red, Teal, Lavender, Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue) - Moon (male husky, kept one of lark's babies-Teal) - Sakura (black female pregnant rescue cat) (kept her) - Sakura had kittens! zodiac litter (Gemini, Taurus, Aquarius, Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) - Azula (female foster cat, was pregnant but lost the litter) - Hen (foster mama from junkyard) - 6 junkyard pups (Duck, Goose, Shark, Otter, Bear, Moose) - foster mama dog Roo - Roo's litter (Hare, Tiger, Bison, Panda, Raccoon, Monkey) - Daenerys (white foster mama kitty) - D's kitties, the Greek Goddess litter (Athena, Persephone, Aphrodite, Nemesis, Rhea) - took care (for a couple of days) of a mama duck and her 9 babies that wandered into his backyard and got stuck - new pregnant foster mama husky (and 11 babies!) *the babies are usually adopted by other people (other than Moon) and then renamed!

Personally I like the birthstones names the best, it's enough names, but they're not so obvious as naming the dogs the actual months, plus less likely to be changed later, I'd rather have a dog named Opal for example than October which is what the Opal stone is for.

I always remember my sister’s as opal and she was born in October; I know that’s been updated from when she was born which got me thinking and looking at an alternative for December. There was a time that turquoise was assigned to that month, and also lapis. 💙😊

Hi joey! I truly appreciate you looking forward to rescuing little mama bear and her pups! We need people like you more often! My warmth towards animals has increased in the past few years after an incident. One day when I was walking down the street I heard the wails and squeals of what seemed like tiny pups from a nearby trash can. When I quickly opened the lid, I saw 5 little pups who seemed about 2 -3 weeks old tied up in a plastic bag... thankfully 2 of them were still alive. I acted as fast as I could and took the living pups out of the bag.... however I could see that 1 of them - a little girl was having extreme difficulty in breathing and seemed to be making a horrible wheezing noise. I was in 8th grade then and I was in too much of a shock! The little girl died in my arms. The other one - a little boy was still alive. I hurriedly took her to our house.... the vet was too far away and my mom had some experience with dogs... After I reached home, my mom immediately extracted 5 worms from his ears...he passed away on 2nd December 2020.... he was 8 months old.... we named him biggy... joey if you could please name one of the pups after him, I would be so grateful ❤ continue doing mararvellos job! Love you 💗

Birth Flowers! Every month has a few different "birth flowers" so you would be able to do the 12 months but also do flowers! January - Snowdrop (the first born white one?) February - Iris or Violet or Primrose March - Daffodil or Cherry Blossom (Cherry or Blossom for short) April - Daisy or Sweet Pea May - Hawthorne (for a boy) or Lilly of the Valley (Lilly) June - Honeysuckle (Honey) or Rose July - Lotus or Larkspur (another Lark!) August - Poppy September - Aster (for a boy) October - Cosmos (for a boy) or Marigold November - Peony or Chrysanthemum (for the "mum" lol) December - Holly or Narcissus (for a boy) *Each flower has its own meaning too so you could choose the names based on personality traits that match those meanings if you didn't want to name them in birth order!

I really agree with the birthstone idea. I think since there is 12 dogs total it’s the perfect time to use it. I really like the flower idea i think it’s super cute, but it could be used for any number of puppies since there are so many to choose from. I feel like it’s a once in a lifetime chance to have exactly twelve and, as you said, you already did zodiacs so it’s the PERFECT and possibly only opportunity to use all the birthstone. But it’s totally up to you! Any names you come up with will be adorable, just my personal thoughts :)
