I got back into YGO! for a while after Six Sam and XYZ were added thanks to two friends. It was insane and ridiculous. Doesn't seem like it got any better. It's all his first turn and he just uses the entirety of the deck to win. With them as a core engine. Prime example of why hand traps are so important.

Hey man, enjoyed the vid and was a really cool combo but id like to vocalize one observation i made. Back in 17:19, when the Dantes were accidentally linked to the flame sword and was fixed to unicorn, flame sword and puzzlamino were both put into the extra deck again instead of graveyard and unicorn cant be summoned off 2 Dantes so the combo actually ends up breaking there since the flame sword would have to come out and both it and puzzlamino would need to be linked to unicorn which brings up an issue later when flame sword is needed again for field clear. Was wondering if there was a way to go about fixing it so that the combo is actually pulled off?

In a controlled loop with no outside factors ( no negs, hand traps, the person isnt under the effect of maxx c, etc) once the loop has been done and shown it is infinite in its entirety you are to declare a set number of times completed then continue with the duel. Failing to select a limit and proceeding to loop can be considered as slow play and is punishable by disqualification. On the first part, sure he messed up a 15 minute crazy ass combo. Hes still wild for putting it together and a better duelist than anyone in this comment section or even 99% of us combined KEK

We just basically watched a feature length Yu-Gi-Oh! episode! This one time, in World Championship Tournament 2004, Téa hit an opening move with a chain reaction that got 2 monsters on the field and started giving her 1000 hp every turn per monsters, it was a feedback effect and she essentially won in a similar mana albeit far less complex. I always love the nature of a Yugioh game, its like a Schrödinger's Box with Pandora's Cat inside.

Jessy just ran through his whole deck three times and continuously refilled it to summon the three Egyptian God cards then finally special summon zombie type Goddess of light for game. All of this occurred turned one off of one number summon, that is insane how Yu-Gi-Oh had evolved over twenty years. I tried out the tournament scene in Magic the Gathering. It is not just about being good at the game. People will cheat while you are playing. Some will rules lawyer not allowing you to redo a turn when you make a mistake. The monitors do not do their job properly so the tournament results are suspect.

back when soul charge came out on duelingnetwork you could get this card out very easily using a stall deck. just use a bunch of battle faders, scarecrows, etc and discard/draw cards to discard obelisk and slifer. all you needed after the gy was set up was ra, soul charge, and horakhty. simple soul charge summon obelisk, slifer and (depending if you had a battle fader or something still on the field) 2-3 monsters so you could normal summon ra. if the opponent didn't negate soul charge or its summons its basically gg since ra nor horakhty summons can be negated.

"Infinity" is a concept, not a number. And I know 999×10^99999 is a hell of a lot of counters.n but still a finite amount. You probably won't run out in a duel with that amount, but it's possible. Jesse said you have to declare how many times you do it, but Sam was saying there were infinite counters, which is not a legal gamestate.

I respect the puzzle solving skills, mixing and matching all the pieces in ways to make it so you could do all this, in one turn, starting with just one card.... Its basically like spending a few hours and solving every "escape the room" puzzle in the world at once... its pretty busted and it never ceases to amaze me that people not only remember all the steps to do these things, but actually explain it and use it to one turn KO like that.... ... what I despise though, is that that is what this tcg is. Its not a battle of wits or strategy against an opponent, moves and counter moves, thinking not just about your own combos, but about your opponents and decisions based on the current board state with combos that do make you stronger and give you a stronger presence, but without allowing you to literally put yourself in an unbeatable position or simply win immediately..... no instead its an intricate puzzle just trying to solve it in such a way that allows you to have a statistical guarantee of winning the duel on your first turn. Against two equally skilled players at the highest levels, with the best puzzle solving skills, with properly built decks... it just means the game comes down to a simple coin flip or rock paper scissors, who goes first then wins except in extremely limited circumstances where they dont draw one of many given cards that can start their winning combo rolling, and only turns into a real battle in the event BOTH players flub their draws to such an extent that neither draws any cards necessary to start those combos and instead must play defensively without sacrificing their win conditions and bide their time until a piece is drawn that ends the match on the spot... again a statistically very rare event when you're talking about two highly skilled players Meaning those two players might as well not even play the game anymore, and instead just play rock paper scissors.... to me, that destroys the entire purpose of the game being a "pvp" game, destroys the concept of a "duel," and turns the entire thing into a single player puzzle game.... which is neat, and amazing, but also not what you'd really expect or desire from a pvp tcg game ya know? And all of it really boils down to the creators either being perfectly okay with this situation, OR them being disconnected from the ridiculous stuff they put on the cards that enables this sorta thing. I mean, I get it, it IS a nearly 20+ year old game at this point, even a brilliant player like the guy in this video would have a hard time really thinking through all the cards and their interactions and taking it all into consideration when creating just a single new card thats unique and interesting and fun to play WITHOUT breaking the game.... but come on... this is their job after all. Sigh maybe I'm just sad. I remember playing this in high school when the first decks literally came out in the west, there were no boosters/expansions or whatever, and we played with the shitty basic starter decks... and since it was the rural south only like 3 of us even watched anime and played this game... but it was fun... this.. just doesnt look like fun =\ insanely impressive, but in a no fun allowed way

Hey man, enjoyed the vid and was a really cool combo but id like to vocalize one observation i made. Back in 17:19, when the Dantes were accidentally linked to the flame sword and was fixed to unicorn, flame sword and puzzlamino were both put into the extra deck again instead of graveyard and unicorn cant be summoned off 2 Dantes so the combo actually ends up breaking there since the flame sword would have to come out and both it and puzzlamino would need to be linked to unicorn which brings up an issue later when flame sword is needed again for field clear. Was wondering if there was a way to go about fixing it so that the combo is actually pulled off?

Unicorn was supposed to be summoned off of puzzlamino and 2 dantes i think, but ur right about him putting puzzlamino back to the extra deck. It was prolly just a mistake and the combo most likely still works

Instead of using Flame Swordsman, I would choose Baba Barber, since Flame Swordsman cannot be summoned with 2 Dante. - Link summon Baba Barber with 2 Dante, 2 Dante effects activate targeting themself to return to the Extra Deck - Link summon Unicorn with Baba Barber and Puzzlomino - Xyz summon 2 Dante again and mill the last 4 cards - Sword of Sparkles effect tributes 1 Dante to return to the top of the Deck - Xyz summon Emeral, Emeral effect adds back Puzzlomino, Baba, Saryuja and draw Sword of Sparkles - Mezuki revives Uni-Zombie. He has a very fluent combo player mentality from playing different combo decks over the years (especially thunder) where he can literally take something, know his startpoint, know his endpoint, and fill the middle with loops, old tech, etc to get him there.

And it's not even complicated, PK engine, that get you access to isolde, that get you access to six sam, that get you access to every card in your deck. From there obviously dugares, firewall and friends is implemented to stack or do whatever you want to do. Even using zombies as generic reborn, is nothing new, we had so many zombie decks during lightsworn era, that this should basically be obvious from the first moment he mentioned he played zombies. At the end of the day, it's a intressting six sam deck, that does accomplish it's win con, not more not less...

Just one point of criticism: Dont interrupt Jesse all the time with Question he is about to answer while doing his combo. It interrupts the flow of everything and its feels so extremly staged and stalling. Just let him flex, we all pog and this video is still amazing.

Ogdolics can turbo the king but you still have to either hard draw rise or infinite draw it since cant surch it but venoms rebirth can special the king and kill it the same turn on your own

@@btr1011 venoms rebirth kills it in the end phase, so you can't activate the trap since it would be the same turn it was set. As for searching it you can dump it with "curious the lightsworn dominion" and set it back with "knightmare gryphon", or just hope to draw trap trick.

Start with 0 counters. Ss mizuko to link zone, counter on shogun, 2 on gateway. Ss shinai, 4 total on gateway. Mizuko target self tribute shinai. Shinai add mizuko. Remove the 4 counters on gateway to add shinai. You have 1 counter on shogun. Before this loop I explained, you had none on him. He gets you your infinite plus
