I'm a stay at home mom (not employed) and have struggled with depression. Once, during a dark period my friends came together to gift me a service of having a house cleaner come. It's the only time someone else has cleaned my house and I literally cried at the result and from the relief of taking that load off my plate. THANK YOU for cleaning homes and caring for these mothers.

You are the only cleaning video I watch who empties their dishwasher from top to bottom. I do that too! I do it because sometimes you find water left in the bottom of glasses and sometimes other pieces, so when you go to empty that, water may drip on the dishes on the lower shelves.

A clothesline!! Yes!! Brings back such nostalgic feels for me. I grew up in a house that had one that pretty much came standard with the homes of that neighborhood (they were built in the 50’s), and my grandma and I would hang clothes, sheets.. whatever. They always smelled sooo good! Something about sleeping on line dried sheets that is just so comforting. I’d love to have one. Maybe when we finally get our own home we will. ☺️☺️☺️

I actually just started doing my spring cleaning today!! I usually like to start spring cleaning when I feel the spring weather coming in, and when the plants start flowering. I do room by room; I feel like it's easier to do it that way in a sense. If I'm doing a deep cleaning (starting in my room) I take my sheets off and wash the sheets and quilts. While that's going, I start dusting everything. then I start pulling out everything from my closet and dust/Swiffer everything in there, and also see what I want to keep or donate. Then put everything back in order. I do the same thing with my dresser, and also throughout the whole house.

I think the nightstands would be great a moody grey or a midnight blue? Or some other kind of blue or grey! Either color would be gorgeous in your bedroom. Unfortunately, i must use a dryer here in TX. My allergies go crazy if i put any launtry outside. 😢🤧 I have that diffuser and love it too!💜💜💜

I'm also in Az and love the idea of letting things dry in the fresh air and sunshine. I learned from my mistake of hanging a few items to dry outdoors on a breezy day. So much dirt in the air on those breezy days and I ended up rewashing the items because of it.

Hey Amanda, clothes lines couldn’t live without one! I have clothes horse in laundry room, I’d have a ceiling pulley one if I had high enough ceilings for it. I’ve had both retractable and full on clothes lines. Retractable were good but you have to walk along the line to hang, used that one for decades because it retracted. Then decided it was a major pain walking the length of line twice each load. Now I have a permanent line off my back deck, much easier to be honest. I was your age running that retractable, I’m almost 70 now.

I tend to do all inside and out windows in one day, then i was wash all the all curtains the next day. Touching on the conversation from bedroom makeover regarding the new nightstands and what color to paint them. I had mentioned a moody night-sky color like a navy that would POP on that white wall...and while that sounds super cool, cooler even would be also taking that moody blue to the opposite wall where the TV is to tie to both sides of the room together and it would also disguise the TV when not in use. Also, pure white accent decor pieces look fabulous next to a deep navy color so the sky's the limit for design elements.

I agreed with another commenter last week about painting the nightstands a dark blue, because they would look amazing, but I have had a change of heart. My nightstands are almost black & they are a nightmare to keep clean. I can dust them until they shine, & come back an hour later & they're dusty already, especially with cats in the house. 😻 I really liked your wood inspiration nightstands, and I know other commenters have suggested a faux wood treatment, but don't know enough about the process to give advice on it. Sorry, I'm not very helpful. Whatever you decide to do, I know it will be amazing, like everything else you've done. 😊
