Are there not any laws in England regarding horses and drivers maybe she should’ve reported the driver to the police , they could’ve endanger her and Joey but thankfully everything turn out ok .
@lisaequestrian89402 жыл бұрын
@@claudecarter246 In this situation, Esme signaled the driver to slow down but she was ignored. When new drivers are doing their tests, they are required to have knowledge of horses on the road and what to do. Drivers are required to slow down to at least 10 mph or stop completely if necessary. I’m not sure that the police could do anything at this stage, however if the driver did to any damage to Esme or Joey then it would be a completely different story!

And well done you for responding so calmly and allowing him the chance to release some adrenaline straight away! If you haven’t already, I definitely recommend reporting the vehicle to authorities. There was no regard for any laws/regulations at all, and they definitely should not have been going the fast on a public bridleway when they could clearly see you.
