Kris Petersen it’s up to you if you prefer gloves then wear them it make very small difference I don’t wear them but it’s completely different for everyone

I am ten years old, and I REALLY wanna do riding lessons. I am quite short and small, but I’m not afraid of horses or falling off one. My biggest fear is getting injured and not being able to ride again. I have asked my parents to do lessons, but they don’t know anywhere. They are afraid it will be too expensive. My mom doesn’t really support me. She said “I can’t see show jumping in your future”. I would really like a nice equestrian place to do lessons at. Do you have any recommendations?

Anyone get tingles and feel like they gonna cry when she said "every bolt, I would ride through it and every buck, I would sit" or when she said "keeping Casper was the best decision I ever made? Just me, okay, btw I've watched this, like 30 times You are such a good rider, Esme and I look up to you so much and want to be like you one day, I've been riding for four or five years now and I haven't even galloped yet! Anyone else want a horse sooooo badly but their parents wont let them?❤❤❤❤❤🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎❤❤❤❤❤ Edit: I wrote this comment over 2 and a half years ago, and I still do not have a horse but I am no longer angry/sad about that. Yes, sometimes it's hard to see so many people with gorgeous horses and ponies, but at the end of the day I'm just extremely grateful to even be able to ride twice a week. In those 2 years, I have now galloped, ridden/jumped without reins, faced my fears and rode a huge mare (I now love her to pieces), and done so many other amazing things in my riding journey. I know this is just one comment out of many, but I really appreciate all the kinds words of love and support from everyone. 1.4k likes is an insane amount, and thanks to all the 180+ poeple who stopped by to reply and share their story! ❤ Edit 2: I first wrote this comment when I was a 9 year old, horse obsessed little girl. Yes, it is cringey, but it also makes me smile because of how far I've come since then. I am now 14 and am going to start loaning my first pony next week, and am being given opportunities I have only dreamed of since I was 7. If you take the leaps and try your best, dreams really do come true.

I just found this video on how to persuade your parents to get you a horse, her tactic was to make a film on it .the girl who made the video used it on her parents and got a horse! I made one on my own and I’m yet to show it to my mom. The videos called how to persuade your parents to get you a horse. The second video is it. It has a white horse on the front. Your speech about persevering with Casper was so emotional it nearly had me in tears as I can relate to some of it with my pony and you’ve made me realise (as you said) there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Toby, Bruno, Willow, Mickey and Casper are all amazing. And you should be so proud of yourself and where you are today! Also those photos of you and Mickey are so cute.
