Old games were better because you could be dropped off the cell mid moves, shit wasn't realistic but it's hilarious. I remember playing the entire day with my brother in that mode.

Exactly I recently played svr 07 with my friends we were dying everytime a simple move would make us fall off the cell 😂 but when we played 08 it wasnt the same bc you could only fall now with a grapple move and it made the match less unpredictable

They need to have a cell with a fucking door. It is nearly impossible to throw out a CPU. Because of how SPECIFIC the area is. You Irish whip them off of the cell you have to stand in front of them for a second before it pops up. Then it's already too late. They aren't groggy. Sometimes it doesn't even fucking work

I really miss when you could just go bust the door open. Now you have to use the OMG thing. It's was over complicated. I wish they would keep the games evolving but keep the gameplay simple. Wrestling games have lost my interest over the years, especially with the controls. The last great wrestling game for me was SVR 2007 on ps2 because you could use the old controls.

brandon johnson and remember you could also climb on the cage and throw your opponent on the announcer table or on the floor. Or even better you could drag him/ her on thr cage's roof door and perform a finisher or DDT until the carnage was broken. And this as you know it would end with your opponent being crashed in the middle of the ring. After that you simply had to pin him/her and win the match. Where have you seen this on today's WWE videogames?

SvR 2007 will always have the best Graphics ever in history! 2K15 has realistic graphics but gameplay was simple and basic and it’s a new gen console so everything is new and being tested. As new things get added into the game e.g features, mechanics, 8men matches etc, the graphics had to be decreased otherwise framerate will drop to 30fps

Isnt it funny how games from 2001 still look similar to next gen Games ? People love playing the same fucking game over n over just with better graphics. NOTHING has changed significantly about the core GAMEPLAY yet. Sad what a sad franchise, i miss the old days of wrestling games.

I think the gamecube games are underrated when it comes to gameplay. In all 4 wwe releases for the gamecube the cell was properly sized, you can pull weapons from under the ring, slamming them through the top of the cell never defaulted to a generic animation and you were able to throw them off the cell through the announcers table. You could also slam your opponent on top of any weapon and it would dent or break on impact which we didn't see in svr games until 2011. Of course, the story modes were terrible and the graphics weren't the best, but the over all gameplay in my opinion is far superior than the early svr and smackdown games but no one talks about them.

In WWE '13, you can escape through the door of the cell outside of attitude era mode. You have to choose special referee and you have to be the ref and beat up someone to the point to where you are told to leave, thus leaving the door open for you to leave. However, if you wanna actually play the match like that, you have to have player two play as the ref and proceed with beating people up in order to be told to leave.
