@@lindan2836 You were "educated" about this at some time in your life. You weren't born with the knowledge. I was born in 1962 and my dad had been a prisoner of war in a Japanese prison camp during WWII. I was educated about all this when I was a kid, because of what happened only around 20 years before I was born. Education is education regardless of when or where a person is. Too bad you have such a short memory about having been "educated" about this. I hope you write a book about all the things that you know without having been educated about them. I literally went here in July of last year. It was one of or if not the saddest things I’ve seen. Seeing the clothes, the hair of the people, the chamber where they got killed. It was saddening. As the tourist took us to the actual camp, it was soo scary looking and I remember hearing a scream in the distance that shook me. It’s sad how those people were tricked into thinking they’re leaving their lives for a better one just to get killed upon arrival. Sad.

It's the kind of quiet that makes your ears hurt. I haven't been there but I visited Dachau in Germany in 1996. These places where so much suffering and so much death happened need to be remembered and preserved so man kind will never be able to forget what went on here. You can also feel the lost souls. No birds chirping, voices from your guides are low and respectful the only sound for all to here is the footsteps on the gravel. I was brought to Dachau in a highschool group was completely shocking. The silence that carried us on to the busses after we completed the tour you could of heard a pin drop on carpet. It opened my eyes to haterid on a whole different scale. It's been 28 years now and I still remember as if it was yesterday.

Very nicely done. These walk through videos by content creators are becoming more and more important, because as time goes on there is less and less formal teaching about the Holocaust in the classroom. I'm trying to recall my social studies class where it was talked about, and I think it was just a broad stroke overview in the context of the history of WW2. I doubt it even comprised one full class on it, specifically. For a lot of people, these episodes that show up on the channels of popular content creators are really the only major exposure to the history of this dark chapter that really does need to be remembered.

As a black Dutch, thank you for sharing this with your audience. Too many Americans that I know, and sometimes even young European friends, are not actually aware of this part of WW2 history and they glance over it or jokingly even straight up deny it ever really happened. But this, alongside the other horrific genocidal events on our peoples through colonialism etc. it is a haunting reminder for us here how easily this stuff can happen again when given the opportunity. PS: LONG LIVE ANTON DE KOM✊🏾

Are you aware the Auschwitz was built for Polish Christians?? The first transports were with Slavic people. Only in March 1942, first transports with Jews arrived in Auschwitz. Strange how they do not teach that over 3M Polish Christians were murdered by Nazis... Also Polish Slavic children were subjected to medical experiments, small children worked in camps for Children.. And then after World War II , NKWD, tortured an murdered few hundred thousand of Polish Patriots or soldiers who came back from Western Front. Do you know who the leaders of NKWD were= Soviet Jews. I bet , they do not teach this in Netherlands.

Hi, thankyou for your upload. Last year I visited Auschwitz for the first time, with friends and with a tour group. I can't remember how much I paid, but we set off *very* early - were shuffled around various points of interest, taking account of where other tour groups are and seeing your experience - travelling by train, obtaining free tickets and taking your time has inspired me to visit solo so I can really take in everything.

Amazing dude, thank you for this. My Polish Great Grandmother was murdered by them in WW2, medical experiments. I wish everybody could go there to get perspective on how bad ideologies could take hold and manifest the worst suffering and death by "well meaning" people who thought they were justified. Everyone needs to appreciate how good they have it, especially in the US. No matter how important you think your "problems" are, could be worse, could be ALOT worse.

@@Cheetahpuma-g2emissing the point, no one claimed that….She’s saying that there are plantations that are literally used as wedding venues when ppl have perished in horrific ways on that land and the USA just let’s ppl buy the land and exchange vows. Some rewriting of history or ignoring the history of the land will not change anything. There is no respect for the land. It should be treated as this video is being treated, not a playground for people to get married on. No one gets married at a cemetery either.

Stop being so brainwashed . On October 7th hamas and 1,000s of civilians broke into Israel graped, murdered, tortured burned innocent civilians alive . With the pure intent of killing as many Jews as possible. That’s the sedition of a genocide. They Took 250 hostages. After October 7th isreal obviously retaliated. Don’t start a war you can’t finish. Hamas embeds itself into civilian life they are in hospitals schools houses. Most tunnels are in civilan houses. They are taught in Gaza to hate Jews to kill Jews and they are taught nazi manefestio . The population of ppl living in Gaza tripled since October 7th that is not a genocide . Us Jews were 16.6 million now were 15 million. Still lower than pre Holocaust. And it’s been 80 years!!! There’s no death camps in Gaza pre October 7th ppl lived fine and well had restaurants beaches. There society is built on martyrdom. People who praise death over life. I pray you open your eyes and truly see the truth

The question is, why could this horrific crime have been committed in the first place? A small reference to this can be found in the book from Stefan Zweig (1881-1942) "The World of Yesterday - Memories of a European" "Nothing has made the German people - this must be reminded again and again - so bitter, so hateful, so ready for Hitler as inflation." There are also references to this in Adam Fergusson's book The End of Money - hyperinflation and its consequences for people using the example of the Weimar Republic.

@@omartyre Exactly what I mean by that 😘🧡 You are probably the only person who will read my lines here. If you haven't already looked into it... Study the role of gold and silver (sound money) in our money history. Look at Richard Nixon's August 15, 1971 speech (Nixon Shock). You need to understand the impact on society if money and gold are separated from each other and money can be printed/created out of thin air by central banks from one day to the next. They should now also study the role of Bitcoin as digital gold. Bitcoin is a global and decentralized monetary system in which no central authority has the ability to expand the amount of coins. We have to stick together globally to separate the state and money. We have to take sovereignty over the creation of money from the central banks. Kind regards from Switzerland🇨🇭 Study Bitcoin 😘🧡👍👍
