Interesting fact about this case: Jim Smyth, the same guy who got Russell Williams to confess in probably the most watched interrogation on KZbin, found Tori Stafford’s body. Hundreds were searching, but in the wrong areas due to McClintic’s vague descriptions. On a hunch, he drove further north and then looked for areas that matched the description. If not for Smyth, her body might not have been found for years. Edit: I regrettably started this post originally with “Fun fact.” Not sure why I typed that but it was obviously inappropriate. Changed to “Interesting fact.”

You couldn't have said it better - I was also abused as a child and at no point would I ever be triggered to involve myself in such things. Hell, when I see people aggressively shaking their child in public I usually step in to stop it. Blaming your past for horrific acts that you take is absolute BS. You have a choice, make the right one!
@michalmichalski4152 Жыл бұрын
While I agree with you and the narrator, and I'm by no means defending the actions of such people, you have to remember we're looking at it from our own, relatively sane perspective. Not all abuse is equal, and not everyone reacts the same way to similar types of abuse. Actions that most people might not consider abusive at all, even if/when they are being done to them, might severely traumatize another person. It's kind of like with drugs. Most people can do some drugs at a party and then return to their normal lives and be fine. Most will probably never get addicted. Some get addicted gradually over time, and some will become instantly addicted. Then there's the ultra rare case of someone having some sort of adverse reaction and dying from a single, common recreational dose.

It's called free will and it's the reason we're not a savage pack of animals. There's NO justification for the crap people do to each other. @@sythiadawn I agree, there is no justification. And I understand how you feel, and I understand the struggle. You are an amazing human being for choosing to end the cycle of violence/abuse. I admire your strength and I thank you for it. But that was my point, not to justify, but to understand. A monster is a monster, regardless of how they became that way. But understanding how a person becomes a monster can help to stop, and maybe reverse the process before horrific tragedies like this happen. Most cases like this involve some sort of progression to the final, heinous act(s). And they also (often, not always) involve more than one person who looked the other way, ignored, didn't care etc.

Them both being in blankets was so annoying; her interrogation was hugely upsetting and his was infuriating. His was however another one of the many examples of Canadian Investigators being extremely well trained and naturally skilled at interrogation. He played it through straight to the end without losing his focus despite being given barely the slightest acknowledgement from this monster acting stuck up and pathetic in front of him. Much more detailed video than I’ve seen before about this one! It was horrific but somehow was even more depraved than originally believed on my part. She somehow got a lighter rap than he did and now it’s obvious it was an equally achieved situation and outcome. I don’t believe that the little girl had bo idea who she was, she probably had seen her before and that lent enough comfortability for her social nature to extend outside of her regular environment. The likelihood that she previously described essentially the same terrible attack and murder she would later become attached to is simply just to great to be denied and so somewhere from the beginning she had an idea of what was to come and still ushered the girl forward into that eventuality, she is culpable abuse or not. No child should be abused but that stands for both those who were abused and those they sometimes come to abuse as a result of that original abuse.. her family did her wrong but she did that little girl ten times worse. It’s like a watered down less attractive Ken and Barbie killer knock off fan couple. Sick either way. Both deserve probably more punishment than they received but bless that little girls family despite their shortcomings, living after knowing that happened to your child is a hell I can’t imagine.

Tori lives through all of us, through small children that innocently believe adults will protect them. The way a child is murdered, imprints a forever nightmare on a parent. To imagine how your own child suffered, the last seconds of her life looking at these monsters as her last image of the living world, the way your child not only was murdered but HOW your child was murdered, what your child went through, is unimaginably cruel to live with. We lost my husbands oldest daughter in a car crash in the 90’s. We miss her terribly and we celebrate her birthday (4th of July) every year since she passed away. But we know the last thing she saw was her dad’s picture on her dashboard, and she didn’t suffer. I just can’t imagine how horrible it feels and what it does to your psychological and mental well being, knowing that your child went through brutality like this 😢😢😢

May Torri's family and friends continue receiving the necessary counseling to help them cope with their devastating loss.

There a many accounts you can listen to of prisoners talking about how they target child killers/molesters for beatings. I forget what one man on tiktok called it but they even have a name for it there. 100 %. I’ve gone down the rabbit hole a bit further than I should’ve with these cases for awhile. And there’s most often, One perspective that isn’t always acknowledged. (most often content from a male perspective) it seems to me there is the inability understand the core of the female “monsters” perspective. That shes somehow “worse” so to speak, for her reaction or inaction to the victims plight. Speaking from the perspective of an identifiable female… this bothers me. Have u EVER know any woman that’s ever existed, that can say she hasn’t been sexually harassed? No. Because they don’t exist. How many of those women became victims themselves of abuse? Verbally? Mentally? Psychologically? Isn’t every one of those examples of Assault? Now. Let’s add to that pile. If that woman who’s experienced all of the above… gets raped/molested as a child. Statistically by someone she’s trusts. And those that are supposed to notice don’t. And it repeats over and over until something inside her… dies. U think that teenager might show rage? Violence or exhibit similar behavior as her abuser? 🤔 hmm. I’m not a psychiatrist. But I am a woman. And I bet when she swung that hammer she saw it as act of mercy. Knowing after what she’d participated in, just made something CRUCIAL inside that little girl, die as well. And she never had a chance. Every adult figure in that child’s life (just like terrys) failed her. Could this female monster actually be that girls angel of mercy? We’ll never know. I’m NOT by any means excusing ANY PART of what they did to this INNOCENT child. I’m only considering the option that… there were actually 3 victims in this scenario. Who also, never had a chance. The mental health crisis that we’re seeing here, has reached a VERY disturbing, disgusting, and REAL level that isn’t being discussed enough!!! There’s a reason why there are SOOOO many channels for true crime all over the world with the same victim scenario. We need to start talking OUT LOUD to each other about this. People are not ok. I cannot and WILL NOT stay quiet with this. ITS TIME!!!!

I just get so tired of the world sometimes, all this harming of children is unfuriating. HELL come and claim these monsters already. What's even more infuriating is how these child fiddlers get lenient sentences, they register as seexx offenders then go back into society to offend again. Civilians should start taking matters in their own hands 😡😡😡😡😯

And there's so many registered and living next door or across the street. Everywhere. I've seen a map of them and its horrendous.

Even tho this guy didn't get convicted of any sex cr1mes aga1nst ch1ldren, he will still have a very difficult time in prison!!! There's nothing better than some good old fashioned prison justice and this guy has a bullseye on his back🎯💯!!! That gives me a warm fuzzy feeling knowing he will NOT have a "fun/good/easy" time in prison!!😉🤘

I live 40 minutes from here and remember looking around the woods in our area for Tori. These people are disgusting and have been given to much her sent to healing lodge only to have Toris dad fight the system and sent her back and i believe he is in medium security now. I am amazed at Rodney Stafords strength he is a dad on a mission. thank you for including this story it was big in this area and i was devastated when Tori was found.

The only occasion I have for entertaining violent fantasy is when I imagine being the one to administer a little justice to monsters like these two. I’m always impressed with how outwardly calm the interrogators seem to be, inside they must be seething. If there is a Hell I’m certain there’s a special room for anyone who tortures a child.

Towards the very end, the detective playing the good cop SHOOK HIS HAND! he has more restraint than I could ever imagine I'd have.

I never thought I'd say this, but JCS covered this also... And you did it better. All the time and effort and detail you put in is amazing. Also, according to a Google search, Michael was moved from maximum security to a medium security prison, and has been attacked a couple times, and now is forced to "pay for protection" there. I do not know if it's true or not, but I hope it is.
