As much as I love the OP of Persona 2 psp, I really think there needs to be an extended version with extra animaton that includes the whole song. The second verse adds so much more meaning to the song (the first verse has the rapper asking a lot of questions, and in the second verse he answers them, conveying a feeling of "getting stronger".) you know Persona 2 makes having an SP bar less annoying. You can just recover it by moving, which isn't bad as it actually limits your abilities only in battle, SP Just slows down the game if it isn't easy to recover outside of battle. Persona 2's way of dealing with SP is better than most games.

Ehh... I think that's the challenge. The later persona games stopped you from recovering for a few reasons that I personally agree with. 1.) You can just spam spells through everything and makes the game repetitive. Rather than forcing you to switch up your strategies and conserve mana for only enemies you need it on. 2.) Instakill spells become too low risk. 3.) You don't need any more healing items and resurrection ones. 4.) The final reason is that it helps limit the skills your persona can have to an extent. The reason being it forces you to want to keep multiple of the same spell, so like maragi, agi, agilao. Where if you had recoverable mana, it would make life a lot easier and you would just use Maragilao.

I started the series with 5 and I've been going backwards this whole time and I made it to Persona 2 a couple of days ago and I've noticed how the farther you go back in a series the more you realize how better the games used to be, don't get me wrong I love every single one I've played but 5 is nothing compared to 3 or 4, can't say anything about 2 yet but I'm definitely gonna finish it I hear so many good things about this game so I'm pretty excited
