Thinking about it... Bill lived in a flat dimension, still his eye was UP Until he left his dimension for the first time and saw it from above, he lived his entire life up to that point unable to see his parents, his reality, he could LITERALLY only see the stars, he was blind and alone, cursed into a childhood disconnected from his peers, no wonder he said "It was agony"

No one is born a monster. Bill didnt mean to harm anyone but he will forever remeber what he did and that drove him over the edge and any sanity he had was gone forever the second he burned his family and all those that loved him alive, now carrying a memory of his darkest day on his hat (the last atoms of his dimension). Also cemented on the fact that when Time Baby brings up what he did on a conversation, Bill drops the sassy act and turns serious and deadly. and its implied he didnt tell his henchmaniacs the full scope of what he did. He regerets it. And he can lie to himself and everyone aroud him as much as he wants but the Axolotl knows.

I just looked at the notes. He's also scared of TV static and his parents are shown as static in the video. Maybe they turned to static when he accidentally killed them? Also, his greatest fear is _himself._ That on its own tells you all you need to know.

Ngl, I had a theory that bill destroyed his home dimension by possibly summoning Daryll by mistake. The fact he mentions the lobster lord and the "By a Monster" part has been had me thinking for days. But, I could be wrong though.

I think that Scalene is someone different form his parents, when you put tantrum it show a conversation of Bill with the time baby, the baby ask bill what his parents will think of him now, Bill gets mad and after that the time baby mention what scalene would think before Bill interupts him. Also Euclidia seem to be the name of Bill's home dimension.

@@cristiangonzalez-od5lu Given that Scalene and Euclid are singled out in both The Book of Bill and the website as important characters from Euclydia that Bill killed, and that Bill’s unnamed parents were also portrayed in such a way in Journal 3, it’s much more straightforward to conclude that these two sets of characters are one and the same. Occam’s Razor and all that. After all, “scalene” is a term designating a type of triangle, which also resembles certain feminine names like “Selene” and “Irene.” Euclid is an outright masculine name, and the Ancient Greek philosopher of the same name was known as “the father of geometry.” Thus, Scalene and Euclid were most likely the name of Bill’s mom and dad respectively. As for Time Baby’s phrasing, I think he was simply reiterating and emphasizing his point. He starts out by asking Bill what his parents would think, and then attempts to make a more personal appeal by asking again using their names. Bill does not approve of this, so he interrupts him before he can finish.

It's just slightly based on flatland. Not completely based on it. Besides, it's 21st century and the book flatland making the women lines was full of rather sexist stuff. So if people pulled up to read the book once they discovered it through Gravity Falls, I think someone will get offended and try to cancel the show on social media 😂

all bill says in regards to the book is "EDWIN ABBOTT ABBOTT HAD THE RIGHT IDEA" never did he say his dimension was identical to it, just that he had a loose idea of what it was like. not to mention that he was likely referring to how its illegal to discuss or try to seek out the 3rd dimension rather than what the dimension looks like

When born, they are effectively blind and it takes several years for them to learn how to see the world and navigate it. Makes me wonder if the fact Bill had an eye at all was something alien and abhorrent to his species.

This is a photo of Bill and his two parents. Before the start of the series, Bill "liberated" his home dimension and ended up completely obliterating it. And while he pretends like he isn't remorseful about it, it's hinted throughout the series that deep down he actually is (most notably in the Axolotl's poem and inside the Book of Bill).
