*technically* I shared 24 tips, but 25 sounded better for a title haha. Feel free to let me know ways that you simplify your own life!

I just like typing while watching these kinds of videos they help me watch/listen more actively and absorb the information more so I thought I could just leave it here incase someone else would like to read it as well! 1. Neutralise your home/ specific space 2. Set a time limit on the one app that drains you the most 3. Be realistic with meal planning/grocery shopping 4. Lay out workout clothes the night before 5. Regularly emptying out purse/bag 6. Say no when you want to say no 7. Post-workout stretching 8. Spending time alone 9. Cleaning up while cooking 10. Cutting up fruit so they're ready to eat 11. Organise and separate junk baskets 12. Waiting before making a purchase 13. Getting a pet 14. Having only what you can handle/take care of 15. Making the space for quiet time 16. Being a really good friend to a few of your closest friends 17. Incorporating a sabbath(break) day in your week 18. Swapping podcasts in for music 19. Getting in bed early 20. Resisting the urge to 'keep up' 21. Showering in the dark with mood lights 22. Sitting down for meals 23. Taking your thoughts captive - re centre yourself - gain some perspective 24. Wearing basic clothes

Hi, Michelle! In my culture and language (Polish) the word "friend" ("przyjaciel") carries a special meaning and usually is reserved only for 2-3 people closest to us (but who aren't our family). People who we just like, hang out with from time to time or meet at work are our "znajomi" (something like "mates" in English) and they aren't quite the same as friends. Calling someone a friend has a lot more emotional, loving, serious meaning. I find this distinction very useful when it comes to managing social interactions :)

Well “zna” means to know so I’ve always just taken it as acquaintances, or literally, as people you know!

It’s the same in czech culture, “přítel” is a closer friend (+ it stands for boyfriend) and “známý” stands for acquaintance 😇

As an only child, I totally relate with Allison's statement. I have a ton of acquaintances and say hi when I see them out, but I really appreciate the few close friendships that when I do catch up with them, no matter how much time has passed, everything seems just as before!

I love this concept of minimizing without being a minimalist! I really admired the idea of minimalism this time last year when it was popular, but I’ve found I’m too sentimental and appreciative of a space that feels cozy and like home to get rid of things just for the sake of having less. For me, I’ve found it much more beneficial to focus on being intentional with my belongings and time, rather than less less less. Thank you so much for sharing these simple living ideas! I’ve been really enjoying this type of content :-)

I shower in the dark too!!! My vent thingy is super loud, and I was trying not to wake up my toddler. So I showered in the dark! And OMG game changer for that added relaxed feeling. I so appreciate that so many of these were achieveable and not just buying products/services. One tip I have is taking time on Sunday to prep my outfits for the week. I only have to think about it once and usually end up putting more effort in than when I choose day-to-day.
