The Inspiring 8-Year-Old Cancer Survivor on How to ‘Be More Florrie’ | This Morning

In the weeks before eight-year-old Florence ‘Florrie’ Bark was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia in 2022, doctors refused to believe she could be seriously unwell because she was so smiley and upbeat. Thankfully, due to a life-saving bone marrow transplant and numerous rounds of chemo, Florrie is now cancer free - however, the gruelling treatment has left her lungs badly damaged. But despite everything, Florrie uses her experience to educate and spread joy to her 120,000 TikTok followers. The viral sensation joins us alongside parents Stacey and Andrew to share their journey.

Little florence lives in my town, and every school in my town decided to wear rainbow clothes and everyone in my year 10 class at the time decided to bake cakes and everything to sell and donate to her 🤍

Such a lovely young lady, she is so beautiful and very happy. Your parents are amazing. I would love to know how we could donate to your charity as I was diagnosed in 2020 with acute myoid leukaemia, obviously not as bad as you. I was lucky because they managed to catch it early due to my other health problems and I had to have some bloods done for my hypothyroidism And my bloods did not come back quite right and they investigated it with,a haematologist. I’m always getting infections and I wasn’t getting any of the signs or symptoms none of the hot sweaty nights. as an adult I found it hard even though it wasn’t the bad one I was still had but you just seem to be so inspired. That’s why I would love to give to your charity.?
