I was in Puerto Escondito close to 30 years ago. It was well known that the lagoon was full of crocodiles. Boat tours were advertised to view them. Hard to believe they've disappeared. How long have they been around?

In the South U.S., swimming with alligators is just how we grew up. It's amazing how people from another country aren't well versed in crocodiles and that area
