In the Victorian era having very pale porcelain skin was a sign of wealth and high birth in women particularly because poor or working class women had no choice but to be out in the sun especially women from farming communities so they had tanned and skin and had more lines and wrinkles making them look older than their wealthier counterparts. Women went to exteme lenghts to protect their pale skin wearing high neck and long sleeve blouses and gloves even in the hottest weather and hiding under parasols. Then in the 60's and 70's when most people still couldn't afford holidays abroard having a tan began to be seen as a sign of wealth and health because it showed you had enough money to be able to spend money on luxuries like foriegn travel. Strange how things can come full circle.

What’s with this „sun bad” bs xD infrared light helps your body to make cellular melatonin, which is the strongest antioxidant that exist. If you don’t go out for sunbath you’ll get sleep problems since your body will use up melatonin from your pineal gland as a antioxidant and there won’t be left enough for circadian rhythm and sleep.

@gothicgrandma45594 ай бұрын
@@DoyinVoice It wasn't just the British Victorians. Colourism was present in Iddia long before the British colonists arrived. Paler skin was a sign of high birth. In modern life blonde hair is pursued relentlessly with blonde women being seen as being more attractive. It's easy to understand really. Caucasion and fairer skin types are in the minority worldwide. Naturally blonde people make up only 2% of people worldwide. When something is rare or less common it is always seen as desirable. @DoyinVoice white skin has carcogenic phomelanin. Polymorphism in the mcr 1 genes prevents whites from producing eumelanin. White skin reflects sun rays. Think of a magnifying glass and sunlight burning an ant on a hot sidewalk. The sun does that to white skin. Black skin absorbs sunlight, and creates heat energy. That is why black people don't sunburn. Phoemelanin and eumelanin have a different chemical structure. White skin cannot withstand uv-c radiation and that's why solar flares affect white people's physical and mental health. That's why she wants to be black.

😂 People smoking 40 cigarettes a day one pack is only 20 and most people smoke a half. But you’re injecting something into your body to change your melanin production and if you have to tan plus do the injections why won’t you just Tan?🙄 both of you look beautiful. It’s so crazy how some African-American women want to be lighter skin and then you have these Caucasian women and men that want to be darker skin. I would have to say I wish I was born with deeper melanin because the chances of skin cancer are like zero to one. That’s the only reason I would want to mess with my melanin if it was safe. But whatever makes you guys feel good, but if it’s messing with your health, you should definitely rethink that. The body is a very complex machine and you don’t know what’s going to happen in years to come. And a lot of the stuff that you’re injecting is carotene which can turn your skin orange. I don’t know anyway God bless and I hope everything works out for you two.😉👍🏽
