Its a sad commentary that "frugal" had become a somewhat negative term. Its a virtue to me. Making do with what you have and spending wisely has allowed you to build a house debt free. An amazing accomplishment in todays world.

I’m so frugal and I see people just spending money like it’s water. If something bad ever happens to them, like losing employment they literally have one or two months worth of money. It doesn’t take long to lose everything you have.

Greg you definitely need some "feather boards" on that table saw ( especially when working alone ) Google 'feather boards' as they hold the material tight to the saw and fence when working short handed

I feel your pain. My wife has back issues so really can't help me with projects around the house, and I'm in my "golden years", so these kinds of projects take a lot of braining to overcome the lack of brawn.

Greg your work ethic is amazing! Most guys would sit back & wait for their partner to come home to make the two person job go easier! Nice you acknowledge how much easier Katie makes the work! I thought getting sheets changed, two loads of laundry done, bills paid & supper cooked was a big accomplishment day! You put me to shame😂😂😂 It looks absolutely beautiful! Great job!

Hi Kati and Greg, My names Dennis. I have been watching your channel before you started building your off grid home and other structures. I also watch other people and there journey building there off grid homes. I watch a channel called Ambtion Strikes. Its a young couple ,Corteney and Riley.. They needed water for there off grid home, as they built there home up on a mountain. It would have cost them several thousands of dollars to dig a well with no gurantee of ever hitting water. they came up with a system that you may be interested in. I am retired now and really enjoy watching your channel. I retired 2019. thank you for all you do. I am 73 yrs old.
