This was a fun video! Sadly you broke my heart when you made the comment "I always wanted to have one of my cars in a magazine. There just aren't any magazines left." Me too brother!

That flathead intake on top of the display cabinet is what some of my dreams are made of.

The shot of it sitting in the sun makes it worth all the work. Looks fast sitting still.

Fresh donuts! Yeah! Thanks Mike. Oh ya, the details, are all correct to me, The purple tie in from the shocks to the block is perfect. Rear bumper is period correct and love the shifter ball waaaay up. Thanks.

I cant express how much I like the stance of your 34. Thats old school just friggin cool as it should be and (to me) you nailed it. The reason Ive watched your channel since you bought/ saved it. I've really enjoyed your other builds and renovations to the bigger shop etc. but this car is why I subscribed. Well done Mike and to Ally for puttin up with his crazy. BTW my backround is roundy round cars from"80" to "2010" so I naturally enjoyed the shots of the roundies from the show, We built some cool s**it back in our day!

I’m putting the rings on my pistons as I’m watching your video, hopefully be ready to slide the motor into the dragster Monday or Tuesday. I think I have everything except gas line and a few fittings. Oh yeah and a battery. It’s gonna make noise soon! See you at the drags! 😎

Chip Quinn from Hot Rod Central Louver Co., here! I can't get enough of your '34!!! Such a neat car, and every proportion is absolutely spot on. Wheels and tires are perfect, too. Neat to see an old fashioned, set up in a gym or armory type car show, too!

Thank you so much,Chip. 🙏🏼. I really appreciate the kind words and compliments on the car. It means a lot to have you following along and appreciating what I’m doing. Thank you 🙏🏼 Mike

Looking great! IMHO if you outline the words “Vintage Drags” in black, your sign would really pop.

I laid that out at 2am the night before. At that time I really didn’t care how it looked. The single color is how it would have been painted on a cars decklid way back in the day. Referring to old photos and books I’ve read. 👍🏼 but I get what you’re saying

Mike, what do you use for a 4” -4.5” cutting disc? Having a hard time locating a high quality .03 - .035 thickness (thinner the better) with decent quality- thanks for the build update.

Ive been buying my cutting discs from empire abrasives.
