I've always thought Baymon had the talent but they were struggling to find their own style. Task accomplished. This is the song where, IMHO, they've finally stepped out of the shadow of their world-famous "sisters" and found their groove. This is not only a Banger in the classic YG mold, but this, along with "Apt." are top contenders for Song of the Year, and I may even give a slight edge to this as much as I love Rose. Babymonster ain't babies anymore...

Yup, they found it and I never hate YG artist for that as of any BIG 3 Labels ..YG have very strong image and it reflects on their artist which is both good and bad and hard to get out of, but with time their artist make their own image. And BAEMON DRIP album is a solid 8/10. CliK Clak would have been better with good lyrics but overall not a bad song and Woke up in Tokyo is fully misunderstood song, like people expected it to be RAP heavy because of RAP line but it turned out to be more closed cutsey kinda J-pop song.

This is for me the best MV they had, the transition and location is just perfect its started in FOREVER where they hired new director and new team for the production, MV is becoming so iconic for them.

Love your analysis too 😀 BTW, the storyline is that Chiquita is urgently delivering more DRIP cassettes by smashing into the record store. [ The actual cool old dude who was the record store owner in the video has a YT channel! His behind-the-scenes comments are in his video on the channel “I’m Not Marvin Music”] So the cassettes are selling so fast-even from the ice cream truck they took over-that they are running out! They need more copies because everyone is spontaneously dancing to it, as Asa reports, and the dude Ruka is trying to interview in the street right after is being arrested for bootlegging the cassettes. You can see that same dude earlier in the restaurant making a deal, where at the same time outside you see Rora is grooving and glittering! Later all the girls are in the factory manufacturing more DRIP cassettes 😎. At the end there are finally enough DRIP cassettes being delivered to keep everyone happy and partying! 🎉 Thanks a lot! ❤❤❤-❤-❤❤❤

They seems recording in 8K or 12K or maybe much higher. Since their MV are all in 4K highest. Somehow yess... before editing proccess... a proper planning including the storyboard visual is the most important thing to ensure the results.

i'd say this song 'drip' rlly deserve for their main track bcs it's catchy, good production, and solid vocal for me i listen to their music after the hype down, usually at spotify bcs i can only listen to the music and not w/mv. my tips is if after hear 1 or twice and you remember parts of the song, most probably you'll enjoy that song
