Forever MV is Pharita's dream while she is stuck in a dream loop referencing several Disney classics. Peter Pan with her being tiny (like Tinkerbell) while in the claw machine, flying through London (Big Ben clock) with fireworks. Cinderella with the golden slipper (in this case a stainless steel stilletto shoe), loosing a shoe at the event, and the clock about to hit midnight. And most of all Snow White as she is stuck in the Forever sleep (connecting to the name of the song) and being surrounded by the dwarfs (that is why they are not standing so they immitate the size difference). The shoes and unopened invitation at the end show that she is still in the dream loop as she never went to the event. Throughout the song the lyrics are repeated, "It was only a dream"". The music from the beginning begins again as Ruka rings the doorbell to start the dream loop all over. They should have ended it with Pharita looking through the peep hole seeing Ruka whisper BabyMonster. YG girl group MV have all kinds of secret coding and hidden messages in them. Deep stuff. Stuck in the Middle also is referencing Disney fairy tales with each of the 6 members (Ahyeon was still on break) representing a different Disney Princess. It also is hinting to the problems with relationships and why they are stuck in the middle is because they do not understand relationships because girls learn relationships from Disney movies and playing house with dolls = why they start the MV in a doll house. Also referenced is the book Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus = why in the MV the girls are on a completely different planet (not Earth). The lyrics also reference these concepts by stating, "I thought that I knew everything, I guess I don't know anything" , "I get emotional, and hypothetical, wondering if there are all kinds of things, that I'm not supposed to know". All references to female perspectives of relationships comes from imagination, emotions, and Disney movies and has nothing to do with reality or how men think, operate, or even communicate. YG MVs are no joke. Deep stuff.

I know people are comparing this type of performance to western music stars. But honestly, look what they are doing. They are singing and rapping WHILE they are Dancing. It's a total performance. As usual, let me provide some info on the girls: The girl group doesn't have a leader (although, normally, the companies or the members themselves usually choose the oldest 1 or the1 with the longest training period as the group leader - in this case, Ruka, but she refused this position). Batter up achieved a record-breaking 22.59 million views within 24 hours, making it the most-viewed K-pop debut song in a day. The group continued to set records, reaching 50 million views in four days, 100 million in 18 days, and 200 million in 53 days. Rami, south korean - the blonde, tall one (in Sheesh she is the 1 with grayish long hair, standing in the center of the eye, with red dress, singing heavenly & towards the end reaching low notes) just turned 17 y old ,in October this year. She usually sings the choruses . She is the one of the main vocalists (duh!😆.... with her amazing voice...), but she just proved she can do it all, in Click Clack rapping like is no tomorrow. Also, an amazing dancer (although all of them are). PS: she is my bias in BM (her rendition of Cil's "Bloodsucker" , in the live singing show Lee Mujin Service, is the most beautiful song I've heard in my 42 y of life: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nl6uoaiaiLynf80 ), her Amy Winehouse like tone is smthg out of this world. To have an idea about how talented they are let me just say this: Rami & Ahyeon (Ahyeon being the 1 missing in Batter Up & Stuck in the middle, due to health issues) were admitted as the top 2 music students in Hanlim Multi Art School in Seoul, South Korea, the most famous art high school in all SK, an art education institution that is well known due to their previous alumni's, who are now famous kpop idols, actors, singers), so yeah....being recognized as the bes & with the most potential among all from a country known for her music industry rly speaks volumes about their talent. Ahyeon, south-korean, the jack-of-all-trades of the group, as I like to call her 😀, is also 17 y old & she usually is in charge of the rly high notes in their songs & musical flourishes & ad-libs (like in Sheesh & Drip). She is amazing at everything, as the top YG producer said repeatedly in their documentary series, being the 1 with the highest vocal range among all of them. She simply is that good: raping, dancing & singing, OMG her singing... She sang "Dangerously" by Charlie Puth, during her final evaluation, went viral on YT, Charlie saw it & all was history (he made a song for them called "Like that" - u should check out their performance video of this 1, is 🔥🔥🔥). Ruka , japanese, 22 y old (in march of this year) is the main dancer & lead rapper, also the oldest among them & the shortest one 😝(also, I think she & Asa are the ones with the longest training periods). She is in charge of leading the dances & rapping. She has an insane amount of charisma & swag. Her style of rapping, a little laid back, full of emphasis & attitude is rly a trademark of YG Asa, the other japanese member, 18 y old, main rapper, vocalist, dancer, came to SK to become an idol, not knowing a word in korean, barely spoke english & now is, in my opinion, is the best rapper of the group. Her delivery is considered her strength due to her unique high tone and clear pronunciation, and thanks to that, she is good at performing fast-paced rap (she is the 1 with pigtails, appearing as the 3rd rapper in Sheesh, after Ahyeon & Ruka's rap part, after they "shake" their legs 😄). U should check out some of her training period interpretations, like Eminem's "Godzilla" (although is just a small part) & Me, Myself & I. Rora (her stage name “Rora” came from “aurora”. Yang Hyun-Suk, the main producer of YG named her so, confident that her beauty and talent would shine like the northern lights), south-korean, 16 y old, vocalist, (the 1 playing the piano at the start of Sheesh - btw she rly knows to play the piano) has an amazing tone, a little in the low register, but with an amazing range. Very, very talented singer. Pharita - Thai, 19 y old, is the 2nd oldest, vocalist, - she is the princess of the group, really elegant in her gestures & demeanor. Pharita’s stunning looks impressed the former YG Entertainment CEO, who said she looked like a Disney character come to life. She was chosen from 1,226 candidates who attended the YG audition. Usually she is in charge of singing the bridges, pre-choruses in their songs, although is not that simple, since lately they change their parts or roles, since they are that good. Chiquita - well, well well😅, last, but not least, the maknae of the group (the baby 🤗). Born in febr of 2009, 15 y old, vocalist she completed her training in the shortest amount of time among the BM members (she was revealed as the 3rd member of the group, after Rami & Ahyeon). When she came to SK she was 11-12 y old, she didn't understand/speak a syllable in korean & cried for her momma 😁, as her fellow members unveiled. She is the most pampered by the other members & her idol in life is Blackpink's Lisa (when she encountered her, for the 1st time, during her training period, when Lisa went to check on them, she was fangirling like crazy 🤣). About her, Yang Hyun-Suk, the main producer of YG , said that she is the one with the most potential & fastest growth among all of them even saying that she probably, in the future, will surpass her older Thai sister, Lisa as a global music icon. She is the blonde 1 with pigtails in Sheesh, or with really baggy clothes, singing the chorus, in Click Clack. And let me say this, in conclusion, BABYMONSTER will be, in my opinion (& many others) the future queens of kpop, even surpassing Blackpink. Their live singing skills, as much as I'm a blink& I love Blackpink (them being my introduction into kpop , 3 y ago), these girls are simply superior in terms of vocal skills & they will only get better , provided that they don't disband & stay healthy or if YG doesn't mismanage them somehow (hopefully not.).

Love your reactions. If you’re interested in learning about them, I highly recommend starting with their Individual Live Performances in black and white. Theses were their first videos YG released of the members to lure people in. They are short but really good. Then there are their individual Introduction videos of each member (watch their character playlist as well). Then watch the Last Evaluation series. It’s amazing. You see the girls perform individually and as a group in singing and dancing. You also get to see Jennie and Lisa from Blackpink mentoring them. Also, if you like Stuck in the Middle, you should watch their pre-debut song “Dream”. It’s one of my favourite songs from them. I recommend watching this after the Last Evaluation series so that it’ll hit you harder. Anyway, hope to see more BM content from you. Cheers!

Babymonster is the junior group of The biggest girl group in the world today BLACKPINK , The legend PSY (he is famous for his Gangnam style), The kings and icons of kpop BIGBANG, and the legendary girl group 2NE1. Also they are the 3rd gril group under YG entertainment which is the only company under the big 4 companies in south Korea where it has only but 3 girl groups yet the company produced most of the biggest names known to kpop. Watch Baby Monster, Like that performance video. This song is a gift from Charlie Puth. He was so impressed when Ahyeon covered his song Dangerously and the song Dangerously went viral he gifted them Like that to release the song as a Baby Monster original on their Sheesh mini album in April 2024. He wrote the song Like that, in 2018 but never released officially. Then go watch Like that performed as a open mic live acoustic duet by Ahyeon and Pharita on the BeginAgain channel. Mind blowing talent.

That was a GREAT reaction to four Babymonster songs. One song I would recommend is their pre-debut song, which had made me an instant fan of their's before they even debuted. The name of the song is Dream, and it takes you on their journey of training. It showcases their vocal talents. Another group I would like to recommend since you like versatility is Babymetal. They are a japanese kawaii (cute) metal group (they founded the genre) formed 14 years ago as a subunit of a japanese jpop group. Babymetal are lead singer Suzuka Nakamoto (Su-metal), and scream and dancers Yui Mizuno (Yuimetal) and Moa Kikuchi (Moametal). The girls were just 12 and 10 years old at the time, and are in their mid twenties now. Yui Mizuno unfortunately had to leave the group in 2018 due to health reasons, and Momoko Okazaki (Momometal) was chosen to take her place in 2023. They are backed by the best session musicians in Japan. I promise you, they will be nothing you've ever heard or seen before. They are also one of the very best live performance groups on the planet. With over 50 songs in their discography, I am only going to select a few to show their range as every song they sing is different. Gimme Chocolate, iine, Megitsune, Headbanger, Road of Resistance Live in Japan, Karate, BxMxC, Pa Pa Ya, From Dusk to Dawn, No Rain No Rainbow, Shanti Shanti, Da Da Dance, The One, Monochrome, Light and Darkness, and Metal Kingdom. Okay, that's a long list, but watch them at your leisure or record a reaction. We'd love to see it. Also, most of these music videos will be live performances, as that is who they are.

You seem like someone that does her own research before reacting so you already know this. Batter Up was their debut single released in November 2023 with 6 of the 7 members because Ahyeon was on health hiatus. Ahyeon also missed the MV for Stuck in the Middle which dropped in Feb 2024. She returned for the official 7 member debut on April 1, 2024 with Sheesh MV. Forever dropped on July 1, 2024 and was a pre-release single to the Drip Album which, as you know, just dropped on Nov 1st.

This is late, but here's a little information about Babymonster. They were formed through a series of evaluations that were released onto KZbin before they debuted. YG (CEO of YG Entertainment) originally only wanted to debut five members, but ended up debuting all seven. Batter Up isn't considered their official debut, because a member was missing from it. Ahyeon was on a health hiatus, and that's why there was only six members in Batter Up and Stuck in the Middle. Sheesh is considered their official debut because all of the members were finally present The seven members include: Ruka (oldest), Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora, Chiquita (youngest). 4/7 of their members are foreign (not Korean), including both of their main rappers (Ruka and Asa, who are Japanese) which make it very impressive that they can rap so fast in a second or third language. The other two foreign members are Pharita and Chiquita, who are both Thai. Chiquita, their youngest member, is 15, and Ruka, their oldest member, is 22.

For SITM, Ruka in the stunning red dress at the start of the video is standing on her darkened world 🌑 caused by her unrequited love. The single flower 🌷 represents a glimmer of hope for her love. Note how the single flower on a dead world is very much like Disney’s Wall-E! The rest of the video/song is Mulan looking Ruka’s daydream. Rora grabs our soul in her Jasmine green dress after Pharita’s first verse, and later as Rora is playing on the piano 🎹. Chiquita is captivating, especially in the opening scene as she looks into the camera and melts us, and Pharita’s angelic lyrics include “…let it go” (with it repeated as an echo) which is an homage to Disney’s Frozen, as is the stairway to heaven later in the video and Rami’s beautiful blond braided hair. Asa and Ruka both stun us walking on a pathway of stars which might be an homage to Disney’s Wish. There are other Disney references such as Rami on the small island looking like The Little Mermaid, the pond for The Princess & the Frog, and I’m sure several more.
