I’ve always heard the story of Christmas spider was that as Mary & Joseph were traveling to Bethlehem they stopped to rest in a cave. A spider covered the opening to keep the soldiers who were looking for the newborn savior safe. As the soldiers came by the cave they passed it by thinking they could not be in there since a spider web covered the opening. The next morning Mary & Joseph continued on to Bethlehem where Christ was born. I have 2 spiders made of pearls in my tree, one for each of my sons.

Terry, do you know the name of the book book 📖📖🤔🤔? I am so fascinated and inspired inspired to read about the beautiful spider spider 🕷. You can even imagine how deeply afraid afraid 😨I am of these creatures. Thank you for taking time ⏲️to read my message .

@@lorrainebecchetti4865 I don’t know the name of a book. It was told to me by a friend who played Pokeno monthly. We exchanged Christmas ornaments each December and she gave the spider that year along with the story.

@@terryfoster7763 Terry, thank you so much for taking ❤ the time to get back to me when I really felt sorry 😞 for bothering you. I really was upset with myself for taking up your time. Today everyone is busy with the family and work and like myself I am so busy with a puppy 🐶 that my daughter got my son but guess what, I don't know why she didn't say oh MOM, ITS REALLY FOR YOU because my son works in a different state and comes home twice a week and I get the rest of the time taking care of the dog ❤ ,the QUEEN, lol, but I am not really sure how to do this but I try my best and put everything in to her. But 3 weeks ago I fell over the cage we have up for her and I tripped over it with and landed in the hospital 🏥 for 5 days. She is a nightmare but she is a beautiful dog 🐕and I really love her but I am not a puppy person and DEAR LORD she is so full of energy I couldn't do anything with her. Sorry for telling you my story of my life but I just can't believe what you have to do with a puppy who is getting bigger and bigger everyday She is a PIT BULL AND AMERICAN BULL DOG AND SHE IS PURE WHITE BUT like I said before I started telling you my life story I have to keep her by my side constantly and I started trying to make them beautiful SPIDER 🕷. BUT I AM SO THANKFUL FOR YOUR TIME AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR TIME TAKE CARE

Love the story perfect for someone who has nothing. My 8 y daughter learn to make keychain charms from beads which turned into snakes 🐍 and alligator 🐊 , pee icicles. 😂 then some extra cat toys as ornaments basically anything. It was her tree until January then I made my ice Crystal tree. We got a spider ornament kit and it was super easy to do and recreate with fancy beads. Any kit can make new ideas. Just have fun.

Many years ago, I made Christmas spiders for my friends and family. In addition to the spider, I also attached a small little "book" that had the story of Christmas spider. Use a very small font to type and lay out the words so when you fold the paper like an accordion, it will look like pages in a story book. Then glue the folded pages to red felt or construction paper for the outside binder of the "book". Use white or gold ink to write the title on the outside of the "book".

I bought beads 3 years ago as my mom and I were going to try our hand at making some. my mom has since passed and I haven't had the emotional energy to start them. So I’ve started making one of these, my only issue is getting the wires tight enough that they don’t move around while I’m putting beads on. I’m not sure if I’m twisting the wires correctly or just not tightening it enough. I’ve done 4 legs now and it seems like it’s not as wobbly anymore, but I ran out of one type of bead so I need to go back and buy more to finish it 😅
