Emil Kastellet and yeah as you say (I missed that bit in the OP) Kvikk is not the same pronunciation as Quick and vice Versa. Kvikk = kvick (like ‘kick’ with an added v like in villa) Quick = qwick (like a candle ‘wick’ with the q of queen before it)

No reason to get annoyed to be honest, it is common nature to compare new things to things you already know as point of reference. It’s not a big deal being reminded of something. You then use that point of reference to work out what you like more/less than the other so you can decide which one is better for you.

Didrick Namtvedt does it matter?
@DidrickNamtvedt5 жыл бұрын
@@sophiemyrensteinnes4503 Yes, it does matter because "your" and "you're" can't be used interchangeably as they mean two completely different things. "Your" = something you are in the possesion of. "You're" (contraction of the phrase "you are") = explaining what someone is. So while the two may be homophones, they do NOT mean the same. Wrong use of the two shows that one has poor grammar understanding. One thing is when foreigners do it (which can be defended somewhat, but still it shouldn't happen), another thing is when people whose native language is English make these mistakes, that's when it gets really embarrassing.

Sorry but you are mistaken good sir. Kit Kat was launched in 1935, whilst Kvikk Lunsj was launched in 1938, or was it 1937, either 37 or 38 I'm sure. Kit Kat also trademarked the "4 finger sized chocolate bars side by side", and ultimately decide to sue Freia for making Kvikk Lunsj, but ended up losing in court, as the court decided to take away Kit Kats trademark. I myself find the quality of the chocolate in Kvikk Lunsj way better than the kit Kat, so I myself prefer the norwegian one.
