i love how the key phrasing is 'THK protects your *property* and *assets* ' and not 'THK protects your *life* and your employee's *lives* '. Obviously, it does that, but the fact that THK chooses to forward that it protects assets and property before even talking about people kind of shows where the heads of the corporations that buy this system are. This *is* the English ad, so I guess it makes sense. Time and time again corporations prove that they don't care about us workers, they just want to keep their assets from being destroyed. It's great that Japan actually has mandated this into building codes, so skyscrapers have to have this regardless, but if that mandate wasn't there you know things would be different.

Most human beings will be fine if they fall over. A lot of "assets" won't. THK can't afford forcefields to help if an earthquake is bad enough to harm people.
