Lata's voice is also very beautiful But Lata could not give the range, ups and downs and expressions that Madam Noor Jahan has given in the song. Dilip Kumar Saheb had said about Noorjahan Just like the sun is one in the sky In this way, wherever there is light on earth, there is one Mausikar Tafu said Lata sings from her throat and Noor Jahan sings from her heart.

There js no comparison between the two. Both sang awesome commercial songs but when it came to ghazals Lata had nothing to offer. Primarily because for ghazals sweet voices do not get the same attention aa heavy voices do. Even though when it comes to ghazals noor jahan doesnt even come close to Farida Khanum and the Numero Uno Iqbal Bano. Then comes urdu. noor Jahan had an unmatched control over urdu and how to render a word. She was just too good. lata had limitations here because sbe was Marathi. You can feel the accent in " ub to hai tum se" But when it came to sweetest of voices Lata Mangeshkar was and will remain the force to reckon with. She was the sweetest Nightingale and wins hands on against Noor Jehan

Noorjehan was an amazing Ghazal singer, and gave unparallel ghazals. Faridah and Iqbal Bano, both confined themselves to ghazal singing only, that's why you only get to hear their ghazal singing. Noorjehan Farsi Ghazals like Zad Ze Berahmi Ba Tegham, and her redemptions of Faiz Ahmad Faiz and Ghalib shall remain unparallel. Lata indeed had an incredibly sweet voice indeed.

Pakistani Late Film Director HASSAN TARIQ's last directed film was SANGDIL in 1982. It was a diamond Jubilee film in Pakistan. But that film was exhibited in the Pakistani Cinema's as the Film Director HASSAN TARIQ's posthumous film . That is the Film Director had become a clinical heart patient - and had died of a Cardiac arrest (Madam RANIs first Ex-husband. The Pakistani SANGDIL film was also exhibited later on at the International Film Festival held in New Delhi, India in 1983. It took there 2 day's exhibition to the New Delhi's Cinema House to the full capacity. Down the near future Bollywood made its copy in 1985 named SACHA JHOOT - Dharmendra and Rekha starrer.. I don't have any Idea or JAANKARI how the Indian version of HASSAN TARIQ'S Last and Posthumous Pakistani hit film SANGDIL went at Indian Cinema's Box Office.❤❤❤. QASIM from Karachi Pakistan.

I would recommend you comment on the clip of Madam NOOR JEHAN 's last PUNJABI Song: KI DUM DA BHAROSA......DUM AYE NA AYE. It was a Punjabi Song - as well as the last song sung for a Punjabi movie.
