Different is I'm a true Sunderland fan.. Have been 44 years... If half them so called Sunderland fans, were true fans... Sunderland could done with the support over the last 4 years... Many of the matches the stands have were empty.. I know covid hasn't helped... To be honest I think you know where I'm coming from... Never heard the fans like that in a few year... Back in the day Niall Quinn super kev. Jermain Defoe should been in that match yesterday thats for sure... Sunderland are a massive massive club that's.. I was there in the Wycombe end . There was a about 23k Wycombe fans( which is not a bad turn out for a small town on the edge of London) there but Sunderland had 40k plus and it made for a great atmosphere. Fair play to Sunderland they deserved the win and the fans were a credit to there club and City .Had a good chat to a few of them Good luck to them next season, I will be watching their games and results and might even go to the odd away game when they're in London
