Radiohead's Thom Yorke discusses political activism, Friends of the Earth, and Harrowdown Hill with Dave Fanning; Ed O'Brien joins in about political disagreements within the group and Thom reveals that the politics almost prevented Radiohead from touring. Thom deliberately enunciates when referring to "The Big Ask" campaign! Wouldn't want anyone to think he was saying something else ;-)

They are sissies. Thom is willing to take on full responsibility for his posture allegedly as representative of his own views although this, he is aware, drags the whole band. The other guy, I think his name is Ed, he avoids disagreeing. Thom is the boss there, but he also looks afraid of debating cause he knows he wouldn't be able to make a good case for his views cause most of them are driven by anger, his imagination, and not facts. They lose common sense and are out of touch with reality.

They consider AOC as a great politician and on the contrary, and she got caught pulling a Juicy Smollett trying to manufacture a story about January 6th narrative to add her own twist, lies, and then when she got caught instead of being ashamed for trying to trick people, she doubled down and tried to censure people who called her out.
