If anyone is wondering about the lyrics - here they are: "Раде, Раде, бело Раде, що си чакала тъй да да рониш сълзи, рониш..." - which is in Bulgarian and can be translated: "Rada, Rada, white Rada, why have you been waiting, only to shred tears, to cry" I don't know what is the story behind the song but we (Bulgarians) have a novel "Under the Yoke" depicting events during the Ottoman yoke which is war time. One of the characters is named Rada (a popular female name).

I noticed that this song's bassline is very reminiscent of Steve Jablonsky's "Scorponok" in the Transformers score. Of course he could have been inspired by the Bulgarian cho0n "Rada." Just my observation. If you compare the two, I'm referring to the bassline on this song starting @ 1:40.

I am a huge fan of Thomas Bergersen, yet I wonder if he will be able to create another album with that many masterpieces in the future: Ocean Princess, Immortal, Rada, Sonera, A Place in Heaven, Merchant Prince are the bests for me, but even the other would have been in my favorites if this album wasn't so excellent.
