Tonight I put this song on for the first time. My family moved into my childhood house after my dad passed away, and listened to this song in the sunroom where my dad spent most of his time. I couldn't help but picture my dad sitting in his chair listening to this masterpiece with me. It brought back lots of great memories with my dad, especially during the build-up. Haven't cried like that in a long time. Thank you for creating this album, but especially this song.

Return to Sender is absolutely my favorite song in the whole album. Thomas Bergersen has outdone himself again. (why am I not surprised) To me, "seven" is like telling story of a life, with "deliverance" as birth, then later we have adventures, love, loss, and finally, "return to sender" is about death. But Thomas didn't make death tragic. The soul leaves the mortal body and travel through the vastness of the universe, where it originated from. It relives all the moments of its (formal) life, and finally, finds peace. The last minutes of this piece reminisce the beginning of "deliverance". The cycle is once again repeated. The soul has lived it all, given it all, and now is ready to begin anew. And, thank you so much for including the silence at the end of the piece. I really need it... to breathe.

Oh how I could lose my soul to music. Thomas Bergersen, you don’t know how much you’ve blessed my life. I drift away and lose myself in the sweeping, beautiful peace you’ve created. Without music, I would be nothing. No passion. No fire. I need it to live. I need it to thrive. I may not sing or play an instrument, but music fuels me. It is my dreams. It conveys all my hope. It knows me better than even people do, connecting with me on deeper levels than people ever have, revealing to me answers I could never find on my own.

This is beautiful. Soft, warm- gentle melodies infused with promise, hope and life- the first 3 minutes or so, until the music becomes more forceful- allowing me to wonder whether it is reaching for something perhaps? A View or revelation?Later...it winds down again... Standing at the point of transcendance- hesitantly exploring- weaving-knowing-understanding. Yes, this is amazing. Message received and all that hope, happiness and yearning... return to sender.

Maybe I'm crazy but I find this the absolute most touching, inspiring and awakening piece of music I've ever heard, even as coming from Thomas Bergersen. It's so pure and heavenly, as if the soul of nature itself sung to God in joy and praise. All we know will pass, our love, our future, our dreams, but it'll never be lost, for we'll all be returned to our creator - our "Sender" - where in His grace all our dreams and love will forever be complete.

The way all the other themes of SEVEN blend together to create such a magnificent and astonishingly beautiful piece of music is undescribable! It feels like flying high above the clouds or diving through a coral rief or discovering a land filled with all of the most wonderful magic or finally fullfilling a wish, a desire one had held since the beginning of time or like gifting peace to a planet divided by hate, anger, fear and misunderstanding! Every time I listen to a piece of music by Thomas Bergersen I am inspired to write on one of my stories that is about all of that and if I were to close my eyes right now, a million strands of stories untold would be enlightend by this music alone. I listen in awe as worlds spring to live before my very eyes, characters, places, past, present and future of legends unknown by anyone but (so far) me! If I ever finish this story and I have the joy of making a film of it, this is the music I am going to use!

Always thought while listening to this that it was the seven minutes after ones’ death where brain activity continues on. Showing images and past memories, all them in a packaged montage before our subconsciousness fades out. Then as the montage fades we return to our sender. A life so brief, an experience so brief that it is akin to a mere message sent upon deliverance.

Because of when it was released on KZbin, I associate this song with the first few months of the pandemic, with everyone unified by the shadow of death just outside the door. I remember ripping up old bedsheets, making dozens and dozens of masks at a time in my sewing machine. I remember everyone banding together. The world collectively locking down, to give doctors and researchers a few precious weeks to catch up, to try and hold back the tide. What if we'd retained that unity and clarity of purpose? What if we all understood that our moments on Earth are precious, precious things, and we're all we've got?

Loved it at the streamed premier, love it every time I listen to the album I purchased the moment I could find it on iTunes, love it period. So much yearning, joy, beauty, comfort, and glory in this piece. An incredible achievement indeed.

The first piece on the album is Deliverance, and the last piece is Return to Sender. The album went full circle.

My KZbin stats since I found Two Steps From Hell: 10 hours view time per day. My KZbin stats since I found TSFH without their music: 5 minutes per day. Honestly, this stuff is highly addictive!! Especially this one.
