I can relate to the lyrics so damn much. Had someone who I've been friends since 6th grade and he was bullied and harassed constantly by some of my classmates who were considered to be the popular kids. I helped him out and acted as someone he can open up to regarding his feelings and be a shoulder for him to cry on. To top it off, his dad abused him, his mom and his little sister back home so he didn't have much of a break anywhere. I continued helping him out until the 11th grade when his mom finally separated herself and them from her husband and discreetly moved to another country with both him and his little sister whilst hiding from her husband (I know it sounds absurd but that's how bad and obsessed his dad was). Luckily they managed to move to another country and before doing that, I said my goodbye to him and wished him a better life, even though it hurt like shit Anyways, sorry to bother y'all with this huge paragraph. No hate here please
